- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- I have very little, but I know a good deal about Natural Gas and CNG cars. My father turned me onto this energy source as he invested into this sector with his retirement savings for the last 15 years. I also have traveled to Brasil and I have seen them change from Ethanol to CNG immediately after we started buying there surgar for triple!
- What excites you about this campaign?
- A man who is 80 years old worth billions of dollars has put together a plan that will one day benefit my grandchildren! I'm inspired by him and also believe the Pickens Plan makes since on many levels.
- What do you want to do to help?
- Get Bobby Rush to sign the Pickens Plan!
In order to full fill our mission for our district we have to do two things.
First we have to get 500 new candidates to sign up to endorse the Pickens Plan.
Second we have to get Congressman Bobby Rush to endrose the Pickens Plan.
Our Strategy is simple first we are going to meet. At this first meeting our goal will be to have 25 people attend. From that meeting we will all be responsible in getting 10 people to endorse the Pickens Plan. This can be neighbors, friends, family, or anyone living in the 1st District.
Our second meeting the original 25 that attended the first meeting each origianal member will be encourage to bring one other. This will give us 50 Star members! This next group of 25 will also be asked to sign up 10 endorse the plan.
I have read many of your profiles and it is interest ing to see the diverse demographic of age, race, relgion, and different walks of life that make up this group. We are Americans so we are all very different however I think we all share great love for this country and making this countries future even greatier. The Pickens Plan is a great intiative to get our country moving in the right direction!
I look forward to meeting and working with all of you.

Thanks for joining…now that you’ve taken the plunge here’s what you can do right now to help bump up the pledge numbers before Inauguration day. Download and print this NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED petition form:

When speaking to friends, family and colleagues, either in person or on the phone, ask them if they agree with the objective of American Independence from foreign oil. Just slip it into the conversation between the corporate babble, recipe exchange or play date logistics.
When they say YES (no one says NO), tell them you’re going to include their name on a Pickens Plan Petition with their email, zip code and phone. NO ONE will call or bug them (except perhaps you) to join the organization or do anything further if they elect not to.
Fill out and FAX the petitions to the number on the form and you’re done. You will get credit for the sign ups toward the 100 club. It’s easy and fast and there’s NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED.
There are only a few days left until Inauguration day. Do it now!

I am one of the welcome wagon crew. We are all volunteers. Out of sheer numbers I greet daily I have a paste and copy note.
It is not intended to overwhelm you, just give you a direction and some contacts. I do read every profile page.
We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.
For those of you that have already jumped in and have made contact with your local leader- thanks.

There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
After you have read the sites I mentioned, if you need anything else to help you, while you help the push, please stop by. I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.
