Profile Information

Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I don't have much experience with althernative energy--I'm a prisoner of how today's high-tech society is structured.

However, I am an experienced professional in marketing and communications. Currently, I'm with the Institute for Supply Management and head up much of the email communications to supply management professionals world-wide. Prior to that I have had professional experience working with both the Arizona State Farm Bureau and Cattlemen's Association in communications within state government. I'm now working on my MBA, with my thesis in online applications and development of markets.
What excites you about this campaign?
I'm in the process of looking for 40 to 80 acreas where I could not only homestead, but eventually invest in solar technology and eventually write a grant to develop a solar power facility that would provide rural communities and the regional grid providing power to high consumption areas.
What do you want to do to help?
Help regional online and email communication efforts. Learn more about solar technolog and how urban and rural communities could benefit, plus how small solar "cooperatives" could benefit ther local areas, but could contribute to the grid during high demand.

A message from Dave Clement, district leader, to all members of the Pickens Plan, District AZ-06 area!

Arizona Congressional District 6 Virtual March Kickoff Meeting

This Saturday, Mar 28th, 4:00 PM, Discovery Park in Gilbert, Diggers Cove Ramada
Map- http://www.ci.gilbert.az.us/eservices/parks/pdf/maps/discovery0309b.pdf
There are a lot of things available in this park if you want to let the kids play during, before or after the meeting. Its right off of the loop 202, East Side, San Tan Parkway on the North side and Pecos Rd on the South side.
The Diggers Cove Ramada is the closest ramada to where Greenfield and San Tan Parkway intersect. There are 2 picnic tables and shade, bring a folding chair, would probably be more comfortable. There are facilities in the park!
We have oval Pickens Plan stickers for you this time, and maybe some more door prizes.
Hope to see you there.
Thanks,
Dave

Welcome aboard Mike!
We're working towards an Arizona PP meetup, coordinating
with existing environmental and alternative energy groups here. Look for us THIS WEEKEND at the 2008 Arizona GreenSummit and Expo, Sep 5 & 6, 9AM - 5PM, Phoenix Convention Center.

Please plan to attend the 2008 Arizona GreenSummit and Expo, regarding ecological concerns as well as alternative energy, including Solar and Wind power generation.

Check out these pages for details. There should be nearly 10,000 attendees, as well as many vendors, demonstrations,
and of course conferences. But it will not be nearly as fun without YOU!

To learn more about what you can do, read here from the members and focus groups here in the Pickens Plan.

Feel free to join the most dynamic Alternative Energy Group: Solar Power!(Click here)

Reaching accross this great country from sunrise to sunset, add your collective experience, drive & determination to support this vital global resource, and maintain the American technological lead.

We want to keep creating ways to tap this vital resource, not just for the future, but for tomorrow.

For those of you in the Solar Corridor, please also check out our local group:Arizona (Click here!!)

Let's find a way to get organized, working together with our neighbors.

Your proposal certainly merits further study - cost and other feasibility issues will have to be explored.
