I used to be an auto mechanic for the city of Nort Las Vegas, which ran its fleet vehicles on propane and CNG. I believe it is the time for CNG to be used as a transportation fuel. I believe that CNG is the best alternative, and it must be emphasized that existing automobiles can be modified to run on CNG, and these vehicles can be made to be "SWITCHABLE" , which means that converted vehicles can run on gasoline, and then with a flip of a switch can run on CNG. This is significant because it alleviates the problem of limited infastructure (CNG pump stations). It also must be stated that CNG systems can also be used with Hydrogen as a fuel, if in the future Hydrogen becomes widely avaliable. It is also important to emphisize that "In Home CNG Pump Stations" are available, and again are an answer to the problem of limited infastructure. What excites you about this campaign?

I am excited about this movement because it "Kills 2 Birds with One Stone" , it is a GREEN technology polluting only about 30% of a typical automobile that runs on gasoline. Secondly, There is a huge supply of CNG in the United States, and the large scale use of CNG by Americans will alleviate our countries dependence on foreign oil.

What do you want to do to help?

I want to be involved in opening a company to do the CNG vehicle conversions. I really believe in this.

The system generates hydrogen by a process known as hydrolysis where water molecules are split or pulled apart by an electrical process, and separated into separate hydrogen and oxygen atoms. An internal combustion engine can then be run on the hydrogen gas. There is no air pollution, as hydrogen contains no hydrocarbons. The exhaust will only contain pure oxygen and water vapor. As an auto mechanic and race car engine builder for 30 years, I was very sceptical about running my car on a byproduct of water until I tried it myself.
