Today is the day, for all who believe in their hearts that we can do this, to get 10 signed pledges! Will you print off 10 pledges, get them signed and fax them back? The clock is ticking and it is time for us to ramp it up. Tap into that moment when you first saw this and thought, "WOW, this could really happen", go out of your comfort zone a bit and get it done. We have less than 80 days until inauguration day- to create our own destiny. We have incredible momentum - WILL YOU PLEASE GET 10 over the weekend?!
Will you pass this on to your friends AND participate, please
Thank you and Best,
Kim
Imagine if our forefathers had it this easy?
Do you like contacting your public officals? Do you like making making a difference?
If both questions have a "Yes" for an answer then your our perfect member!
The action committee is very simmilar to www.action.pickensplan.com however our job is to do that in a much larger scale! An action committee member will have responsibilities that include: scheduling a conference with their senators/congressman, talking to major companies on switching to natural gas vehicles, and even talking to families about becoming 'green' and signing the petition.
If everything above sounds appealing to you, why wait? Join the Action Committee now!

Dear Mr. Holbrook :
Thank you for contacting me regarding the Pickens Plan. I appreciate your thoughts and understand your concerns on this important issue.
As you may know, the United States imports more oil from the Middle East today than we did before the September 11th attacks and remains the most oil-dependent industrialized nation, consuming about 25 percent of the world's oil supply.
This dangerous dependence on foreign oil has serious economic and national security implications for the United States . As such, research into ways to reduce our consumption of foreign oil is ongoing.
T. Boone Pickens, the founder and chairman of BP Capital Management, has introduced his "Pickens Plan" to reduce our dependence on foreign oil by shifting electricity production away from natural gas fired power plants to clean, renewable wind energy. By freeing up natural gas for electricity generation, Mr. Pickens argues that we can utilize our domestic natural gas resources to fuel our cars and trucks, which in turn would reduce our need for foreign oil.
Please rest assured that as research efforts continue, I will carefully examine the most practical, efficient, and expedient means to shift our country away from foreign oil and towards clean, renewable energy sources. Should further legislation to accomplish this end come before the full Senate during the 110 th Congress, I will keep your views in mind.
Again, thank you for contacting me. I hope that the information I have provided is helpful. My website, http://bayh.senate.gov, can provide additional details about legislation and state projects, and you can also sign up to receive my monthly e-newsletter, The Bayh Bulletin , by clicking on the link at the top of my homepage. I value your input and hope you will continue to keep me informed of the issues important to you.

You must be busy. So, I won't take much of your time.
We live in the freest country in the world. And yet, there is information not being broadcast to the American public about all the 2008 presidential candidates. Where is the information about Bob Barr and Ralph Nader? They are running for president too. Not everyone will agree on their policies or plans of action for our country, but we find that the other candidates that are so profoundly broadcast and their running mates also have their share of discrepancies with the American voters. It is our duty to be informed to the best of our ability as voters. Doing research on all of the candidates is time consuming and made difficult when they are not part of the public “Dog and Pony Shows” also know as debates. Are we being denied information; or are these not so known candidates being denied their right to speech in the freest of countries? The policy to include only the best fundraising candidates makes me question their integrity. I do not want a superstar with some subliminal message of change and freedom to lead my country. I want to see a president that is not afraid to debate with all parties for election. Was it The League of Women Voters that called your corporatized debates devoid of substance, spontaneity, and honest answers to tough questions?
So please drop your exclusionary restrictions, and let all of the 2008 presidential candidates into the debates. It will be good for your conscience, good for the American people, and good for democracy. Let the American people have a real debate for once.

In addition, tell me if these "wind mills" have any importance in Kentucky. If so, who's installing these? I have a significant amount of land that farming has become infeasible to. Would these "windmills" bring income back to the local farmer?? Because farming is beginning to look like it will soon end if one cannot pay the bills.
