Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
No
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
Not much other than I'm an architect and always been interested in it and aware it must be done since folks won't
reduce the number of carbon footprints they make on their own. Its been obvious to me for years that oil is a finite resource, now the usa has successfully helped the rest or the world, or some of it become industrialized I assume, and thusly shot ourselves in the foot, so the oil remaining will be used much faster now. Don't we need it save some for fertilizer anyway? I feel guilty taking a jet on a pleasure trip as relates to being responsible to our planet. Prehaps global warming should mean"'Let's warm up to our planet" ( and start taking care of it?
What excites you about this campaign?
Seems practical for the short term as far far as natural gas
for transportation, wind good for long term partial solution, and if we don't take action to reduce pollution they will be a collaspe sooner or later, sooner I expect.
What do you want to do to help?
Don't have time to help much, busy making a living, other that to be a supporter. MIght could write something, or something I could do in some spare time. I'm good at problem solving or nuts and bolts type of thing, but not good at pubic or political areas.

I will check that out Gerald. Solar interest me a great deal and I have done geo thermal before. Working on a solar 'power module' now although it is in its infancy. I'm guessing not to many years in the future we will see a great deal of 'green energy'. A recent solar seminar I attended, the speaker things PV panels will be 50% of their current cost in a year or so, simple because of supply and demand. I was told China is building or just finished a plant that doubles the worlds PV panel production.
Miles since you are an architect.
Please look what Oklahoma City Habitat for Humanity is doing. Building 240 homes with geothermal heat pumps and ground loops. Saves 30 to 70 percent on energy bill. Drill one bore hole 400 feet before foundation is pored. 400 feet gives 2 tons AC. Of course spray on insulation walls and under roof. 3/4" plastic pipe loop in bore hole directly into heat pump. Usually you find GSHP in large new homes...cost is becoming equal to conventional HVAC. All schools new and old are using GSHP in Dallas/Fort Worth area. More information at http://www.igshpa.okstate.edu
PLEASE email the Pickens Plan video to everyone you know. www.pickensplan.com. Ask them to join. Ask them to pass it along. Time is of the essence. If every member had 10 friends join today, we could put the number of members over 1 million very quickly!
If we can not get critical numbers how can we take advantage of this golden opportunity? High gas prices have "woken up" America to our plight and a paradigm shift like not other is in the wind. We need to do this now.
So many new members write "I want to help, what can I do?" This is a start. We may not get to the next step if we can not get this one done.
Our leaders can not ignore millions of members of the Pickens Plan. We are not there yet. One person can make a difference.
