Hi Mike, wow this is one colorful, imaginative pp page! You're artistic visions are amazing. Two years ago while walking in the woods I envisioned the whole "Play" that I named Eco Fantasy Tour. Since then I wrote the book and songs for the play. I moved back to Branson, MO to jump start the non profit organization I started in 93 to get the funding I need to bring my vision to light. At this time, I'm not so sure Branson is where I'm supposed to produce the show. I've had nothing but resistance. With some money I got from Bass Pro Shops I was able to get the web site up and some of the music recorded. Unfortunately, I paid an old friend to illustrate the pics for the book that would also be used in the play. But she didn't capture at all what I was wanting, nor was it complete. In other words I can't use anything I paid her for. The show I envision has a lot of animation. To keep children's interest, esp these days, you have to be very visual and keep things moving. If I ever make the the right connection and get the funding I would love to communicate with you further about creating this most important mission I'm trying to pull off. I can't request friends, join groups or send messages here on the PP site. Although I can accept friend requests???? Have you checked out elflive.org? It will give you a good idea of what I'm trying to do. the best way to reach me is blueeyeduck@gmail.com. thank you for your creative imput on this beautiful planet of ours. kris

Please enjoy an animated demonstration of my Artistic Endeavors from over the past months collectively put to one of my favorite pieces of composed music Find more videos like this on Vision Animation Studio Over the past few weeks some Individuals representing companies that may or may not want my artistic talent have been inquiring as to what I have personally accomplished and what I am capable of… ( I cant Blame them, to retain my skills, I cost slightly more than a tank of gas, and a little less than a night with a good bottle of wine, so why not) I therefore was compelled, wait no, I felt it necessary, so as to continue to pile macaroni and cheese in my one bowl, to eat with my one spoon, that I would compile a few clips of my CGI accomplishments from over the past 18 months... Some have been in the Holland Animation Film festival and others have been in the Ottawa film festival. And yet others have been in American theaters and still more have been cast on the web, So with that being said… Here is a brief compilation of my efforts edited in VEGAS with one of my favorite musical scores.. Unfortunately some of the clips were made just for web casts so some clips are not well represented in HD! Please enjoy! I am the kind of artist not limited to visualizing then creating pictures and CGI animated films and the occasional movie, I contribute everything from writing, character creation, animation, animation scoring, voices, to directing….. I have even dabbled in the occasional Play as an actor, set designer, and publicist. I have acted in a few flicks like dick Tracy, ghost busters 2 and Bird to name a few, In addition I have produced and co produced projects, I have taught children Fine art and professed to a few collage students CGI animation, I even authored a university text book on Photoshop for Germany, Hobbies see above

A mouse named Squeaky from Katrina an unnatural disaster

Here is a very brief His Story about ME ... Mr. Mike

I am nothing more than an Artist...With Animation I can bring everything I dream to life; with art I can recreate all of it... ART the Ability to Recreate Time. My time!
Mr. Mike

The cast of Katrina an unnatural disaster

A little Biography on me since it is all about me and if it isn’t then it should be if in doubt just ask me!

Starting as far back as I can remember, around the age of five I suppose, I needed to quench my thirst, my burning desire for answers to the curious world around me. I wanted to silence the incessant voice in my head that constantly repeated the word why.

Who am I? I am Mr. Mike, and that is how the 1600 plus children I taught fine art to refer to me. My career started with the desire to figure out how and why things worked. I had to draw, to entertain my mind, to disassemble the assembled … I drew everything from rocks and sticks to clocks and can openers and even the occasional cartoon character! For me even a pile of junk could be manipulated into a master piece!

I suppose I was never truly normal, something I can now see in hindsight. Although at the time, I wanted to be like everyone else, and in your childhood you assume you are like everyone else … I was being conditioned to be what people who labeled people normal wanted me to be. However, their perspective of normal frightened me more than my fear of being unique.

I was, and still truly am, flat out creative. Whether I am accepted by the masses, popular or not, I am what I am, I am an artist. I was always drawing and taking pictures, and when my parents would let me, I would take black and white pictures with a family brownie camera and make short 8 mm film with a Kodak movie camera. Unfortunately, however, funding often times covered the purchase but not the development of film.

Elementary school for me, as with most people, was eye opening. The numbing experience, of the daily routine, of Mrs. Rolland swatting my left hand with a ruler to make me use a pencil with my right hand was as sharp a memory as loving those chocolate chip cookies as big as my head. After three years of elementary school bad grades, Mrs. Gahanna discovered I couldn’t see the board ... In fact I couldn’t see much past my nose. So, at age 8, after three years of sitting in the back of the classroom, in a colorful blur, I realized my vision was far less than close to normal. After spending what seemed like years of testing to determine whether or not I could recognize the letters and numbers, the evil doctor Eagleberg presented me with a pair of glasses so thick I could fry an egg on the side walk in less than a minute. Viola! I could see!

I did at times wonder how my path lead me to become a CGI animation movie maker and after working several days on the thought, maybe weeks, time seems irrelevant, I discovered the events, the turning points, the key frames, that determined how and why I got to where I am and why you’re watching what I make, and to point out a portion of the contributing factors, here they are! Briefly I might add!

I was adopted. A blessing as I have been told. I know not who my biological parents are, I have never been told so I can not find them. I know not my true date of birth; I have in recent months discovered it was changed by my adopted parents to move me into a public school earlier than was proposed by the state. That being said I was adopted into a family. In addition, I know not who they are, only who they wanted others to know about them. I have discovered in hindsight, it was a family that felt my presence would keep a failing marriage together.

My father, mother, and younger brother were all very creative people! My parents worked at Disney. My Adopted dad was an imagineer, and he designed rides including Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion. He went on to design weapons of mass destruction and some good things like the Lunar Lander for NASA and the space shuttle main engine before succumbing to Alzheimer. My adopted mom painted cells for animated motion pictures and passed on as a prescription drug addict. My brother was an artist and designer for Bob Mackey until his death related to AIDS. Together, they helped me realize that the path less traveled was the correct path for me.

I have been making movies since I was nine years old in one form or another. For the past eight years, I have been using CGI exclusively to make my movies at Vision Animation Studio. CGI allows me to bring to life anything my mind can imagine.

These, along with many other experiences have forged my mind, my attitude, and my soul into who I am. I am an artist with the desire to entertain and to send the message that everything is possible. Just look what I can do!

Please join with me to change the world with our positive conscious efforts! Together we can achieve remarkable differences for the betterment of us all!

I still am nothing more than an Artist...With Animation I can bring everything I dream to life; with art I can recreate all of it... ART the Ability to Recreate Time. My time!
