- My experience with alternative energy will begin this moment. I woud like to speak with T. Boone Pickens, in person or on the phone. I have ideas I believe he would like to hear. I would like to be a part of his Team. I am free to travel and hopefully, the thoughts I wish to share with him, he will think to be of great interest. Nothing is impossible to achieve, if we set our mind to it. And, it is truly my staunch belief, we are only limited by our imagination. And, imagination, enthusiasm, and the ability to see an end result is what I am all about. I am a woman who has had many successes. I want my mind and work to make this country of ours a better place to live. That, if we, as Americans think together, work together, our accomplishments will be endless. I am going to try to find out how to, directly, either write or call Mr. Pickens. I hope to hear from whomever reads this note. I will share my ideas with Mr. Pickens.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- The fact that T. Boone Pickens has the forethought to stand up and be counted. I believe we, as Americans, cannot depend on Congress to do what we, collectively, can do to make The United States of America, the richest country in the world, a better place to live, to have the attitude of CAN DO...it takes one at a time. We, Americans, are not afraid of blood, sweat and tears, to accomplish our goals. I feel I have very unique ideas.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I want to do anything that would be required of me. To travel, to speak, to hold conventions...for the masses. I want to make a difference, to bring manufacturing back, to bring those of us who want to volunteer their time by sharing ideas and hold town-hall meetings in various parts of our country.

Can you please return to Send Congress Mail and enter your user name and password and try it again? Once inside click (Card Catalog) then click (Patriotic). Choose your postcard by clicking (Order Postcard) just below the word Create under each card. Enter your message in the edit box, enter Senator Obama’s mailing address and then click preview on the bottom of the page. If you approve of the card just click send. The card will be printed and put into the mail the very next day.

THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
…to wait and see…or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost. How frightening to think that we could be looking back and apologizing to our children that we chose not to get this done when we had the chance.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS
We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Write to your Congressman/woman. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan. Print downloadable flyers and put them in your car and/or business window.
