- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- Was a Major with the 18th Airborne Corps in Baghdad in charge of Infrastructure Security within Iraq. Learned a tremendous amount about energy demands, supplies, transport and shortages. Have invested as a partner with a mutual fund in many energy plays. More recently, have developed an investment platform that invests in alternative energy production to include geothermal and bioreactors.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- Significant physical energy and financial resources are being deployed to lessen our reliance on foreign oil. Ideally we will be energy independent by 2020 and the regimes that are supported with our energy dollars will need to reform as there seems to be a direct correlation between authoritarian rule and oppression and the price of a barrel of oil, the lower it is the more reforms take hold.
- What do you want to do to help?
- Continue to actively push alternative energy plans in both WY and CT. Invest in alternative energy infrastructure (buy or build alternative energy fueling stations (compressed natural gas and electricity from solar power), increase awareness and utilization of public transport, invest in cutting edge turbine-based wind technology.

PS. If Pickens succeeds all forms of alternative energy will benefit from this movement. He has a workable, achievable plan. All viable AE solutions will get a huge boost if the Plan can reach 1M members in 2008.
