- To date, my experience is limited however I have tremendous experience with running large companies and developing successful sales and marketing strategies. I am currently a CEO of a national company (private).
- What excites you about this campaign?
- The opportunity to actually make a huge impact on the future--secure our national interests, create jobs, bring down the cost of food and energy--this is all tremendously exciting. I can only assume the business opportunities that would come as a result of such a widespread movement would be equally exciting.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I am not sure--I am interested in a very public role on this. I strongly feel this is exactly what this Country needs right now--no better time than right now. I would like to learn more immedaitely and then if I could find a way to make it work financially, I would be interested in a much larger commitment.

I was just in Davie in September. We flew in from oregon to meet friends there and road Harleys down to Key West for the 36 Annual Poker Run. Really enjoyed our time there!

Petitions are the fastest way to ramp up our numbers.

I have found that petitons are the best way to spread the word AND sign up supporters.
Here is HOW TO TURN THE PLEDGE INTO A PETITION!
I find it easiest to take one pledge, cut off Boone's lines under the pledge and add a sheet of lined paper under the pledge instead. I put NAME - ADDRESS - EMAIL across the top and fill in the first line to set the format. Most are more willing to sign where others have already done so, rather than the single pledge at a time approach. Everyone understands a petition.
I ask if they would "sign this petition in support of T, Boone Pickens energy plan to get us off of foreign oil?" Hand them the clipboard so they can read it. I do not require the signers to give me their email if they are reticent - don't let that be a deal breaker - some just do not want to give it.
Check out the 100CLUB group page to see how others have accomplished the task. (it is the first goup on my page) When you send/fax in 100, let me know, we will gladlyinvite you to be a member of the 100CLUB. Your leadership on this will inspire thousands!
There are over 150 people in the pledge challenge that I know of right now. Surely, there are many more that I am unaware of, as it is in many greetings. Those 150 willl bring 15,000 new members. If each brings just 5 friends, these 150 will be responsible for 75,000 new members.
This is the approach that works best for me - I tried many. Hopefully, this will encourage you to take the challenge, too. CAN YOU HELP?

The current stance of science that it is impossible is wrong, I can justify my statement. I just do not have the finanaces to demonstrate that right now. Some help in that area would be helpful. I am not asking you but if you could and had personal desire to help I would not object.
All forms of renewables could develop Hydrogen through clean methods if this country had the infrastructure to support that. I believe onboard and onsite is possible, I think I am on a good path but have to finish the research to have that answered yes or no.

One bite at a time eats the whole apple.- If you gat a handful every day you will reach 100 in no time. We need everyone to be participationg in the pledge push. Do we have the fortitude? We all want to get off of foreign oil. We all want the leadership to hear us and do this. As has been clearly demonstrated this week, they will only act when forced to by circumstances and a cry from the public. WE NEED TO MAKE OUR CRY INTOLERABLE. The only way to get this done in our very small window of opportunity is to BUILD THIS ARMY.
PLEASE, tap into that passion you had the very first time you saw this plan. Rmember the WOW! moment you had, when you thought.... THIS COULD REALLY HAPPEN. and let's JUST DO IT! We are now a group of almost 1,400 friends. Mostly passionate folks, the real do-ers. If everyone got just 10 pledges this week signed, we could boost our numbers from just this group by 14,000 new supporters. THOSE ARE BIG NUMBERS! We only added 1,600 new members to the site in the last week. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET THIS DONE.
DO WE HAVE JUST A LITTLE BIT OF EFFORT IN US?? This is not taking up arms, but it is OUR REVOLUTION. We must fight for this. The good news is it is very easy if you just try.

With little effort, we have the ability here for you to send a letter to our Representatives in Washington and Governor, too. Go to THE PLEDGE (at the very top of this page on the blue header) On the top of the pledge page there are three rectangular buttons- two blue ones and ONE RED BUTTON, that reads "CONTACT CONGRESS" . Fill in the short, standard form. Done!
YOU CAN ALSO HELP BY BRINGING 5 FOLKS TO JOIN the site today, so that we can build a voice big enough that Congress will finally have to listen to us, instead of the lobbyists and special interests, who are trying to derail this historic effort.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONSWe need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan.
A GROUP FOR EVERYONE. Join the Guides and Materials for New Members Group. Lot's of good information there.
Check out the many groups for Solar, CNG, your area, etc. Connect, learn and share. We grow stronger with your input. If you don't see a group that speaks to your interest, then start a group of your own.

Thank you for the note and interest. I'm in agreement with your closing sentiment expressed regarding country and upsides... You asked a question next to impossible to answer in a single reply! (Smile).
My suggestion is that you go to a group I launched a few weeks ago if you haven't already: PICKens Me! Jobs! and scroll through ALL Comments posted to gain a sense of 'where many members with highest interest and potential are' -- and look for those members seeking 'specifics' to which you could hold a finesse and savvy in igniting.
Tomorrow - I'll send you a brief outline to a potential wind project seeking 275Million (funding). I'd be delighted to introduce you to the land owner I'm looking to support in a manner that makes good business sense and strength.
