- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- None really. I own a flex fuel car, but can't even use it as we don' have "flex fuels" available here in Alaska - at least none that I'm aware of. Would love to convert it to natural gas. It's also been a long time dream/goal of my husband's to run everything we own on alternative energy.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- It excites me to see that so many people have already joined this "plan" and it's only been out for a short time. I think people are sick and tired of the same old BS about gas prices, oil, the economy and our reliance on ME oil. I do, however, think that this plan should be expanded on quite a bit. Add other alternative sources of energy and not just wind.
- What do you want to do to help?
- Not sure what I can do. I'm just a writer, wife, mother, and a medical oncology receptionist. I'll do what I can, but need a little direction. I do know that there needs to be an Alaska chapter or group or whatever you want to call it.

The wind does blow down the mat-su valley off of the glacier. I wounder if the vast river-bed would be suitable for wind energy. I thought about it once while looking at the river from the overlook, after a sheep hunt in Delta Junction.

I really love this PickensPlan and the GROWTH and ECONOMIC potential it holds!! Plus the lake of dependance it give us as a nation. Cheaper, Cleaner, Domestic. I'm all for that!
