There may be relief in sight. We need to track this legislation and make sure the American people are protected as it moves through congress. This could open up the conversion market if we hold our representatives and senators feet to the fire.
Here is a piece of legislation that proposes to deal with the natural gas regulations on the federal level.
Senator James M. Inhofe of Oklahoma Introduces Drive America on Natural Gas Act and we need to show our support. This is a first step on the road to energy independence.

We have to drown out the foreign oil Lobbyists in Washington. Collectively We have to become the VOICE for changing our reliance on foreign oil, by Vocalizing our Support for the wide scale use of Alternative Energy Producing Systems.
The ACTION we can take Today is to influence our LEGISLATURE. We must change the thinking in Washington. This is accomplished by CONTACTING your Senator, Representative, Governors.

David,
I certainly agree, we need to focus the tax breaks on small buinesses and indivudual families, with each taking a greater responsibility as it relates to their not only energy use, but production.
While large scale winds farms are helpful, I ardently believe that rural americans can get a smaller, personal windmill (and a tax break for it), while some urban areas can use solar.
Sure, it wont cover 100%, but a reduction of 35% by half the nation is HUGE and can be done in months not decades.
Welcome to The Small Scale Entrepreneur group Paul. I am hoping we can educate ourselves on what is needed to develop a successful small business plan that can work across our great nation. Small business is the key to creating a widespread use of CNG. Regulations that constrict the market for the small Entrepreneur must be identified and studied. When the regulations become small business friendly, the cost of a conversion will be reduced and many individuals will be able to contribute in the success of the nationwide transition.
