- I really have no experience apart from my best friend's parents had solar panels to heat their pool back in the 70's. I am interested in alternative energy sources because our workforce and our world is changing and I need to be part of these changes. I was just laid off on March 6, 2009 and I am looking for opportunities in alternative energy solutions.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- This campaign can join us, the people of Earth together to have a truly meaningful voice in the decisions that are made in the very near future with regard to alternative energy solutions. Not only have we spent years depleteing resources on our lovely planet Earth, but we have caused wars and economic strife in our quest to quench our neverending thirst for fuels.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I want to be a part of this generations movement to change the course of history by being a supporter of new energy resources. I would like to set an example and leave a real legacy for my children and all children so they can have a greater hope for a clean and productive future.

I am one of the welcome wagon crew. We are all volunteers. Out of sheer numbers I greet daily I have a paste and copy note.
It is not intended to overwhelm you, just give you a direction and some contacts.
We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to bring to light; (we cannot afford put this on the back burner) again a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.

Everyone has the option on their profile page to do many things. Everywhere it says (Edit) click and you can customize.
Find (settings); upper right corner of your page. You can update your profile, change the manner you receive things. You can chose to preview the comments coming your way before it can be viewed by others on your page. You can accept or delete the comment.
Also every time you write a comment; you’ll see a little tiny (symbol) of sort in the upper right corner of that comment or post; you can click on it and delete your note. You can still do it months later;

Now is the time we hammer our elected officials to allow companies and the private sector to run with new tech and needed infrastructure changes; allowing grants & incentives to help us achieve the energy independence goal!!!
There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
After you have read the sites I mentioned, if you need anything else to help you, while you help the push, please stop by. I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.

I see Leslie gave you green jobs now. It is also a perfect time to take a class or two at a local college in the energy field.
Our economy is in shambles, the World economy is a wreck. I was just laid off on March 6, 2009. But I think there is hope. I hope to become involved in wind and solar energy for a new career and your help is crucial for me. If you know of opportunities please let me know.
