...............YES BOONE'S PLAN IS THE GOLD AT THE END OF THIS RAINBOW !!........ I research everything I can get my hands on to do with .....NGV'S and WVO I'm looking to buy and convert an old d50 truck to wvo, I love worm castings and I am trying to increase my nightcrawler numbers, I research Methane slurry made from clover, leaves and Sheep dung. In the hopes of recovering Methane from sheep or rabbits, and I wish to use solar power to help grow my clones for annual flowers like Begonias,Impatiens and Coleus to help provide extra income.
What excites you about this campaign?
It's Boone Pickins what's not to like. He's the only man I have heard this year that knows what is for the near future and what is for today. I love weather and wind. Boone should get a spot on the weather channel next, talking about how much energy a passing storm just created in wind for the economy.
What do you want to do to help?
web work, spread the word, post it on my myspace, help create a buzz in Kansas. Get local kansas city folks in the know, of the boom to our state and added jobs and cheeper energy costs. And do what ever I can to help get this country away from being 70% dependant on other countries for our fuel.

Thanks for making it happen. I think the CNG link will have the quickest impact. GM wants a ballout. I think the gov. could just
offer a contract for X number of CNG cars and trucks and
the People of the USA would gain cause they are cheaper and easyer to run.

Hey Paul, I just wanted to remind you to try and get your friends and family to join the Kansas group too. We really need to grow the group so we can show there is enough support for the Pickens Plan in Kansas!
there is a great sight called electronic gold mine. they sell solar cells and lots more fun things. and their prices are not bad either.
I've made 2 solar cookers this summer and I love cooking and baking in them. I can get them close to 250 degrees. for recipes I looked on betty crocker. com for crock pot recipes and low temp food. I baked a wonderful cheese cake last week. my neighbors can not believe I can get a card board box up to 250 degrees and cook food in it. I plan on making a solar collector heater with solar cells and a DC fan to help heat a closed in patio I keep tropical house plants on.
I like you idea of getting people here in Kc to convert vehicles to natural gas.. vehicles with fuel injectors are not that hard to convert. we have both ford and GM here so getting them to build cars that can run on gasoline or natural gas would be great.
My dad worked at GM 30 years he had one truck he ran on natural gas or gasoline. he only drove fords.
