cordinated a energy star campaign have orgnized a viewing of kilowatts hours viewing. and always peach energy conservation. but I am not a environmentalist I just enjoy saving money.

What excites you about this campaign?

That It is the start of a long overdue discussion and the bickering must stop or our economy will collapse. gas is a depleating source. Methane is renewable source and solar is becoming more cost effective every day and wind is always a viable source. we should not burn our food so we can drive around .

What do you want to do to help?

* Add and updating the building code to require energy-efficiency measures in the construction of new buildings and the renovation of existing buildings, and setting a goal to reduce buildings' energy use 50 percent by 2030.

We need to pressure congress, the President and Supreme court. The 535 people who whole court over us. Reduce or get rid of lobbyist so that our elected legislators listen to us or go home!!!!
Together we have such a knowledge and power base we can and will correct our delima, not easy or fast, but necessary.
I am for looking at any type of alternative energies as long as it frees us from people who have no respect for us just our dollars. So we may continue as the greatest nation on earth.
Congress and the President need to lead, follow ar get the Hell out of the way! Unfortuntaly we are lock into petroleum for a short time as we develop alternatives. T Boone has the plan and it can be expanded. Lets do it.

The synergy created between diverse groups united for common cause is what makes this plan so effective. It will cause the developers in all energy sectors to bring their best ideas forward, and out of that unity will come even better ideas than what is on the front of the proposal.
