- I have been interest in alternative energy for 25 years. I am an electrical energineer with power plant and process controls plant experience
Last 3 years ran a company that installed solar power.
Was a distributor for Krystal Planet/Energy. I am a volunteer editor for an on line magazine One Planet Magazine.

Was excited with OBama until he started to mention that nuclear power was a possible solution. Nuclear Power is only a solution if you do not care about the one planet we live in..
Most politicians do not get it. We have the technology but we have to start doing things that is good for everyone instead of what is good for the pocketbooks of a few.
I hate regulation but because of the greedy who are only interested in making money we will haave to legislate what we want and need.
Wind, solar,(3D solar) geothermal (Ground Source Heat Pumps) and Plasma Converters are all solutions.
- What do you want to do to help?
- Any way I can and Educate people on the possibilities of of alternative energy. Legislate how houses should be built so they are energy efficient. Like the program in Scottsdale, AZ.

I have been on PickensPlan.com from the beginning. We went to the first town hall meeting to hear him speak. He always makes it clear that this is just a bridge until more permanent solutions are found.
What kind of program does Scottdale, AZ have?
EMAIL A LETTER TO YOUR REPRESENTATIVES -
We are blessed that the creators of this site have given us the ability, with little effort, to send a letter to our Representatives in Washington and Governor, too.
Go to THE PLEDGE (at the very top of this page on the blue header) On the top of the pledge page there are three rectangular buttons- two blue ones and ONE RED BUTTON, that reads "CONTACT CONGRESS" . Fill in the short, standard form. Done!
You CAN ALSO HELP BY BRINGING 5 FOLKS TO JOIN the site today, so that we can build a voice big enough that Congress will finally have to listen to us, instead of the lobbyists and special interests, who will certainly try to derail this historic effort.
YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE PLEDGE on the main page. Print out 10 or more of them, get them signed and fax them back ASAP. When we are millions strong, we can achieve this.
THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
…to wait and see…or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS
We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan.
A GROUP FOR EVERYONE Check out the many groups for Solar, CNG, your area, etc. Connect, learn and share. We grow stronger with your input. If you don't see a group that speaks to your interest, then start a group of your own.
