I know that Utah is abound with Natural gas cars, and refuelling, but undoubtedly there will be long long stretches along the way, where it is not available. That would be a challenge to work out a logistic plan to make it.

There are refuelling stations, and I have researched the conversion process which would cost about $5,000. but would then be eligible to be claimed as an energy tax credit, Also, being in California, you would never sweat the smog check. Plus driving in the HOV is a real Bonus! I would like to convert a Cadillac escalade to NGV to show people that with NGV they can live large, and drive green too!

Looking to purchase a CNG powered Vehicle that is eligable for HOV placards in State of California.Housemates work for Solar PV company in Sonoma County.I am licensed CA contractor with Solar sub license.Have been interested in CNG powered vehicles for years as well as home fueling stations.Believe this campaign over the next years could help resurect the United States economy.I live in Marin County and the famous filmmaker George Lucas has a home near mine.IMAGINE a major film about this exciting story where the United States addiction to foreign oil is documented and the journey to self sufficiency is shown as it unfolds through the use of renewable energy resources.What a way to bring Pickens Plan into the spotlight.The momentium something like a movie would create featuring apearances from Stars supporting the cause would be symbiotically beneficial to both Lucas Films and Pickens Plan.This is the most exciting thing I have ever heard of,so I am thinking of something I think would be helpful to promote it.Thinking of other forms of Media coverage,and since 60 Minutes has done a segment plus many advertisements and Crusade appearances,Mr. Pickens is already doing very well.

What excites you about this campaign?

1)President Obama setting aside "emergency relief " funds to upgrade the Grid and transmission lines...in as little as 4 weeks from today,1/23/2009.
2)Investors are putting in BIG capitol,Such as Shell Oil building a 3-5 Gigawatt Wind Farm near Pampa,Texas
3)Congress of the United States accepting the ideas Renewable energy makes sense as expendatures for foreign oil might ruin our economy.
4) This plan will WORK to get America off its foreign oil dependance,over time
5) I strongly believe CNG is a better fuel for vehicles.
6) I think America and Americans want to be GREAT and do GREAT things,this is a roadmap to return to American Greatness,most importantly economically.

Give ideas.....I think that the Picken's Plan could go "Public" by starting a company to get America off its addiction to foreign oil.Capitolize an initial public offering so" Picken's Plan INC." would have financial resources to build the planned 4 gigawatt wind farm in Pampa,Texas along with others as the Corporation grows.Set the company so along with attracting corporate sponsors like Owens Corning it could extend a helping hand to smaller causes like Planet Better Place who are also trying to get America off imported oil by developing Electric Cars; and Battery Charging and Changing Stations.
