- Very little. I've been in business for myself for more than 30 years in construction, commerical & residential, as president & CFO in four small companies. I've had heavy trucks & equipment and I've read alot recently about CNG as an alternative to oil. I've followed Mr. Pickens in the media as he pursued wind power (which I didn't believe could be a major alternative) and ultimately he did too and have listened as he is pursuing CNG as an alternative to make America less dependent on Mid-East oil. I'm with him on this endeavor 110%. I sincerely believe and have for sometime as I've researched the CNG product that it can and will be a major fuel alternative for this nation and will benefit the American people in more ways than most can comprehend.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- That it is so evident that this product can revitalize this country, despite the politicans, burecrats and left wing kooks in Washington, D.C. and around this nation. Also, because it is just becoming noticed, the potential to begin something new that will benefit almost everyone across this nation is very exciting to me. I know it's a new way of doing things as far as transportation goes and the average joe lunch bucket does not like change, but given the product and a simple at home or at the service station delivery system, he can be persuaded very quickly I believe. John D. Rockefellow had the same problems with the horse & buggy folks in 1870 when he founded Standard Oil. He overcame those problems somewhat.
- What do you want to do to help?
- Any and Everything I can. I would truly like to talk with Mr. Pickens face to face. I want to be a part of what I know will put this country that I love back as it was when I was raised during and after World War II. We need new leadership (the keyword there is Leader) in this country desperately, leadership with faith, integrity, values, morals and some common sense. As I've watched and listened to T. Boone Pickens over the years, I believe him to be of that character. I've recently lost my business because of a dishonest partner and while dealing with the dissolution of it I must seek a way to produce an income for my wife & family. Right now I can not think of a more satisfying endeavor than to participate in building and perfecting this system across these United States along side T. Boone Pickens. I live and have an office & shop here in Virginia, not very far from where this nation began. I have a very good friend here that is the same kind of man and made of the same right stuff I believe Mr. Pickens is, that is helping me through my ordeal and would be an excellent candidate to help me begin to put this business venture together. The CNG product and technology is certainly comprehensive and complex, my desire and abilities would be to begin building & installing the delivery systems necessary here on the East Coast and take it to the West Coast, concentrating initially on the heavy commerical truck & fleet industry, then the general public. During the dissolution of my current business, I've prayed often asking the LORD to show me what it is HE wants me to do, give me a sign that will let me know HE hears and is talking. As I was reading and looking at Mr. Pickens' various articles on his website, I saw the video of an inhome delivery system that is in production and is beginning to be installed at some locations now. The name of the system, "phill", my name. Awsome. What better sign could I ask for.
