- What excites you about this campaign?
- T.Boone Pickens shows true leadership. He has applied his life's experience of the energy industry to develop a vision which will be his lasting legacy. Farming the wind provides an additional revenue stream while still enabling the rancher to run cattle and the farmer to grow corn. Energy security and Global Climate Change are the great challenges of our time. Great challenges require great leaders.

- I am a business graduate with extensive experience of project management and costing.
2 years ago, I researched the wind power resources of US states and I was struck by the high proportion of coal powered electricity in or close to the states with the largest wind resource.
Also there is spare Hydro Electric Power (HEP) undeveloped north of the border in Canada.
HEP is an ideal partner to Wind power because HEP can provide load-following peak power to match available wind power to demand.
I would like to research extending the Pickens plan North to new HEP plants in Canada.
I would like to take part in research to work out the most cost-effective route to link Pickens plan wind farms to the areas of high population.

If we can not get critical numbers how can we take advantage of this golden opportunity? High gas prices have "woken up" America to our plight and a paradigm shift like not other is in the wind. We need to do this now.
So many new members write "I want to help, what can I do?" This is a start. We may not get to the next step if we can not get this one done.
Our leaders can not ignore millions of members of the Pickens Plan. We are not there yet. One person can make a difference.
