Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:: Worked for USDOE when formed from SW Hydro-power generator/marketer. Worked with White House team on manualizing operations for agency. Observation: DOE was top=heavy with AEC "power" leaders.("bosses.")

What excites you about this campaign?: That the DOE can be re-charted from its present dysfunctional hundreds of separate systems, into logically functional complementary divisions. And that MUST include a National Transmission, Distributional and delivery System that is 'looped' to always be capable of backing up lost power anywhere from another loop. Example: Think of the Interstate Highway System - model a Federal/Private System every so many miles apart E & W, N & S - and with interties and loops the Nation is always covered for emergencies. It will work on big scale if mandated with gently-REQUIRED alliance of regulated systems. No 'patches' and 'hold-out-heavy-handers' when National Security is required.

What do you want to do to help?: I will advise on and discuss with anyone, the systems I have personally observed, from Rural Electric Co-Ops, to Federally G, T and Mktg., and public and Private systems -and( Rocky Flats), most become dysfunctional in certain emergencies due to Distribution System needs with looping, to lack of required regulations on controls, circuit breakers, substations and other equipment which will not and cannot intertie and function due to new, old, outdated and equipment that won't interconnect and deliver maximum loads for emergencies. It will cost --but planned shared costs by all generation, transmission, distribution cost pass-throughs and government tax breaks can make it happen - -IT MUST FOR NATIONAL SECURITY. AGAIN - THINK OF THE INTERSTATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM - E & W, N & S - MAYBE ON SAME RIGHT-OF-WAYS, for savings. It must happen and this is the cheapest in the short and long term.

BTW, oklahoma: I just posted an article about Home Wind Systems in oklahoma. Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "soft policy" on Net Metering. Instead they have the tables turned against green power for businesses and homeowners. You should read that article, important.
