I appreciate that that was your last coment, however you did not understand where I am coming from. I do not aspire to become big business, only to survive as a small business person. What do these people you refer to want to make a difference in? The energy problem? The economy? By the way, I am a Million and Million's do not hate! I am willing to help, but would like a little help in return. Is that too much to ask? Have any of the members of this site asked their elected representitaves what ear marks are associated with the pending legislation? Have any of the members asked if their elected officials have even read the pending legislation? Perhaps if we all ask we will know! Where on this site is information about alternative energy sources and products for the consumer? I have a goal to help enough other people get what they want so I can get what I want.
This will be my last comment. There are too many really intelligent and hard working folks that are trying to make a difference. The lobbyists will be difficult to overcome. That is why we need overwhelming support. Big business does not bother me. They employ millions of Americans. Maybe some day if you are lucky you can be big business ... and the haters will aim at you. Doesn't make sense does it. That you aspire to be what you hate. Capitalism is still the best system. I am not naive enough to think there are not huge problems with our system. We all need to work on that too. Congress is at a 16% approval rating. Lowest ever. Americans get it. NOW we have a momet to do smething about it. For country , not self.

Is this site's intent to help the consumer hurt by high energy costs? Is the Govt. helping us or is it helping big business get bigger so the little guys can have their jobs outsourced? The legislation I have read about recently helps big business, not small business. If I am wrong please advise.
I am ready willing and able to help with the energy crises. I am also pro renewable energy. If I am to support this I must first support myself and my family. The product I sell helps people save money and at the same time helps support my effort to lobby the powers that be to provide money for research and development. If I had just enough money I would have time to help more. If you look closely at your lobbing effort it is supporting special interest groups whether you like it or not. Not that there is anything wrong with that. They will in the distant future help the consumer, but not in the near future. All this drilling is not really going to help the average consumer any where near as much as it is going to make big business bigger. The mining and processing of coal and natural gas is not going to help the consumer until it makes big business bigger. I am a small business person suffering financially because of the high energy prices so I am the type of person this plan is trying to help, isn't it? I have a furniture repair business that relies on travel to profit; I also am a Realtor in Ocean City, MD. and am feeling the impact of high energy costs and the outsourcing of jobs. How can I promote my product and at the same time help you with your effort to do what you want? Please also be more specific as to the results you expect to obtain and exacta ally how your site is going to do this. I was hoping that I could find out about new technology that could help save energy and I could help enough other people save money so I could get what I want. Is this wrong? Am I attempting to support the wrong cause? If so I will withdraw my support.

On CNBC, Boone stated quite clearly- he has more than enough money, he gave away 700 million in last 5 years. His estate will go to charity when he dies. And yet he is still willing to bare his back side at 80 so that nay sayers can take shots at him.
When will he next person come along that is willing and able to advance this conversation adn atually get it done.
Be a part of the solution or move out of the way so others can.
I intend to help Boone get so many supporters, it will be political suicide for Congress to continue to lsien to the lobbyists and not the American people.

Please jon a group and share your product. However, please do not try to sell it to new members or existing members. Thsi is for common good, not for self service. It sounds interesting- please go through the group that pertains to your product. Can you imagine if everyne tried to sell product here, and members got frustrated with being pitched to all the time. They would stop participationg!

THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
…to wait and see…or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost. How frightening to think that we could be looking back and apologizing to our children that we chose not to get this done when we had the chance.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS
We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Write to your Congressman/woman. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan. Print downloadable flyers and put them in your car and/or business window.
YOU MAY FEEL INSIGNIFICANT
