The transportation fuel with the smallest carbon footprint is one you've probably never heard of — biodiesel made from greasy wastewater. Listen to a podcast tour of BioFuelbox, a new biodiesel plant using technology developed at INL.
Rebecca,
Can you please send me what you got printed in the paper this last Wednesday and what you are interested in printing in the upcoming weeks. Also, what are our options in editorials and maximum length requirements?
Thanks, Jimmy
Rebecca,
Any update on the Op/Ed article you were working on? I am very interested in knowing how that went or is going. I'm excited about our work in the Pickens Plan and TX-26.
Thanks, Jimmy
Rebecca,
I think that is a great idea to have a Pickens Plan or related article printed in your IL column. And since you have experience in the field, maybe you can get one here in Texas too. With your column experience, it may be easier for you to get something in a paper here than others without your background.
If your interested, TX-26 and the DFW Pickens Plan groups could also use your guidance and submission assistance to help us get an article in a good portion of the DFW town and area papers over the next couple weeks.
Would you be up for something like this? A lot of us would like to submit an article, but have virtually no idea even where to start or how the process works. A general blueprint on the submission process including any rules would be a great help.
Thanks and we appreciate any assistance you can give. And I look forward to working with you on the Plan.

Rebecca,
Welcome to TX-26. We are a pretty active group and look forward to working with you on the Pickens Plan. Please let Teresa or I know if you have any questions or need any resources support.
To keep up with what's going on in District TX-26, just log onto the TX-26 webpage periodically. Teresa and I leave comments fairly regularly on events and resource help there. Also, if you are getting to many emails from TX-26, you can hit ‘stop following’ link towards the top-right of the TX26 page. You will still get the important emails from Teresa and I, but will not get all the smaller TX-26 page updates.
Thanks and look forward to working with you,
Jimmy Horn

Welcome!
I am one of the welcome wagon crew. We are all volunteers. Out of sheer numbers I greet daily I have a paste and copy note.
It is not intended to overwhelm you, just give you a direction and some contacts. I do read every profile page.
We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.
For those of you that have already jumped in and have made contact with your local leader- thanks.
*************Please, I ask the first sites you visit to get accurate info and articles to see pretty much what the plan is about and where the plan stands, and please come back to these sites often as changes take place regularly. Some are long, please; take the time to get all the details.
On the home page, click on About The Plan ~ Boone Cam ~ Blog - You’ll see the Pie-graph Mechanics.
Our future is focus 1- at this point in time! If not now, When? If not you, WHO?
Mr. Obama has voiced that eliminating the dependence of foreign oil is a top priority.

If you would rather wait on a leader role, that’s ok we need helpers. An organization cannot be all chiefs.
There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
After you have read the sites I mentioned, if you need anything else to help you, while you help the push, please stop by. I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.
Other fellow greeters will give you a more in depth list of things to do. Again, Welcome; Tom
