- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- I've been reading quite a bit about various forms of alternative energy as a concerned citizen and as the Democratic Congressional Nominee from AZ District 6 for 2008. I plan on running again for 2010 and would be delighted to have helped move my district towards renewable, alternative energy in the interim.
I don't have any resources in my home, but I'd love to add them in. I hope to do so soon!
- What excites you about this campaign?
- This plan, coupled with other alternatives that are making rapid advances, can help quickly resolve many of the critical issues facing our nation. A move to alternative energy not only puts people to work; but it also aids our national security, improves health via cleaner air, water and soil, as well as assists in saving our environment and our planet.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I would like to become a district leader in moving forward the Pickens Plan as well as other renewable, clean sources of energy such as solar, biofuels such as algae (NOT food crops or those that use arable land!) and other alternative means.

I plan on running for Congress again in 2010. I'm going to need like-minded folks to help on my campaign, give donations, obtain signatures and spread the word! Our present Congressman does nothing for the people. He doesn't care about our environment, renewable energy or helping to build a green economy. I DO!!

How many calls have you made so far?
Well, we’ve heard from Boone again, the stimulus bill has some stuff in it we will all like, but not everything we want, but it’s an important start. Please call your leaders in Washington again and ask them to support it. Then email me with a report of how many total calls you made and who you talked to so I can report for our district to headquarters.

We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.
Please, I ask the first sites you visit to get accurate info and articles to see pretty much what the plan is about and where the plan stands. Some are long, please; take the time to get all the details.

Mr. Obama has voiced that eliminating the dependence of foreign oil is a top priority.

There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
After you have read the sites I mentioned, if you need anything else to help you, while you help the push, please stop by. I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.

PICKENS U We are recruiting "Campus Coordinators" for colleges and universities to represent the Pickens Plan on campus. We are looking for someone who can create a college page on the Pickens Plan site and also on Facebook encouraging folks to sign up for the Pickens Plan.
