This is a group where everyone can get together to organize and discuss ways to bring competitive green jobs mainstream for millions of Americans. Together we can get private industry and government to cooperate and push this through!

- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- My wife and I have installed solar PV panels on our roof. They work very well and produce all the electricity we use. I worked for a few years as a petroleum geologist and have studied the geology of oil for much of my life. I am aware that fossil fuels will become much more expensive and difficult to extract as time goes by, with serious supply problems coming probably much sooner than most people would imagine.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- It is a real proposal for a bridge to a new economy that is not so utterly dependent on oil. Being dependent on oil is the same as being dependent on "foreign" oil, because even if we drilled like crazy in all offshore areas and all of Alaska and everywhere else in America, we would only put a small dent in our need for imported oil, and it would be a short-lived reprieve at that.
- What do you want to do to help?
- Tell my friends and relatives mainly, and slowly try to educate them on the realities.

I am one of the welcome wagon crew. Info given not intended to overwhelm you, just give you a direction and some contacts.

The banners at the top of the page lists many areas. Point to any and look inside.
Watch the [Welcome video] to help you understand the site a bit.
Point to (blogs), next to {states}and keep up with almost momentary info.
Click on PLAN under about the plan. You will see the many layers we are addressing. Also look in daily Pickens-Events-Recourses.
Please come back to these sites often as changes take place regularly. Some are long, please; take the time to get all the details.
Everyone has the option on their profile page to do many things. Everywhere it says (Edit) click and you can customize.
Find (settings) upper right corner of your page. You can update your profile, change the manner you receive things. You can chose to preview the comments coming your way before it can be viewed by others on your page. You can accept or delete the comment.
Also; every time you write a comment you’ll see a little tiny (symbol) of sort in the upper right corner of that comment or post; click on it and delete your note. You can still do it months later.

We all need to do our part by beginning at home with our energy usage. We also need to keep hammering our elected officials to allow companies and the private sector to run with new tech and needed infrastructure changes; allowing grants & incentives to help us achieve the energy independence goal!!!
There is a group for almost everything. Type any word of a topic that you would like to see. Do not be afraid to go clickin crazy!!!
The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
