Thought you might be interested in the Idaho National Laboratory facebook site. We do a lot of energy research including wind, nuclear, solar, natural gas, etc. http://www.facebook.com/idahonationallaboratory

Harvest Time

Every seed takes time to germinate.
So too in the fields of the soul.
We must never give up and sow
because the results do not
immediate to our eyes.
Let us wait with patience.
In the right moment, the seeds
have driven in the soil of hearts,
there will produce mature fruit.
Understanding and sow Joy, Peace and
Courage, Forgiveness and Love.
Jesus bless you have a good night.

Haven't been able to get a response from the pickens team on an idea. Maybe you have some pull some where. Assuming the new wind farm is on hold, why not setup a fund to add a windmill to an existing wind farm ? I would contribute to it. My original reason for joining was to increase the use of wind energy.

GA is beginning to realize the importance of alternative energy grants and credits. On Earth Day, Gov. Perdue signed HB 473, which provides grants up to $100,000 for solar thermal and $500,000 for Photovoltaic systems. The only caveat is the grants are capped at $25 million, but we're hoping to double or triple that year to year. This should do wonders because even companies that are losing money and not eligible for tax credits can get direct grants to offset the purchase. My firm, FLS Energy, is already factoring these grants into the Power Purchase Agreements we offer, where we own the solar systems and sell the energy back to our client firms. This will definitely bring jobs to GA.
