Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I live near a ethanol plant if ethanol is considered alternative. Ethanol sucks! What a waste of energy and tax dollars.
What excites you about this campaign?
It can work, its the right thing for the future of our country. I don't want my kids fighting a war with China for oil in the future,
What do you want to do to help?

East St., will be hosting the first annual Indianapolis Alternative Gift Fair. The day will also include a 7:00 PM holiday concert featuring global music.

Half traditional church holiday bazaar, half farmers' market, the all day fair aims to be a positive holiday experience. "With the lousy economy and people increasingly conscious of sweatshop-made Christmas presents," fair organizer Jamie Price says, "the hope is that yuletide shoppers can have a more local, handmade Christmas experience."
At the fair, $1.50 will buy a mosquito net for a family in the Democratic Republic of Congo, while a $50 donation can finance a micro-loan in Senegal. There will be plenty of giving opportunities for those doing work locally, too.

Welcome and THANK YOU for joining Pickens Plan.

YOU CAN HELP BY BRINGING 5 FOLKS TO JOIN the site today, so that we can build a voice big enough that Congress will finally have to listen to us, instead of the lobbyists and special interests, who will certainly try to derail this historic effort.

PLEASE DOWLOAD THE PLEDGE on the main page. Print out 10 or more of them, get them signed and fax them back ASAP. When we are millions strong, we can achieve this.

THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
...to wait and see...or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost.

Check out Pickens "August Call to Action"- for a course of action!
Here is an informative video "Topeka, Kansas Town Hall Meeting": http://www.pickensplan.com/news/2008/08/04/video-of-the-topeka-town-hall

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS
We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Write to your Congressman/woman. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan.

A GROUP FOR EVERYONE
Check out the many groups for Solar, CNG, your city or state, etc. Connect, learn and share. We grow stronger with your input. If you don't see a group that speaks to your interest, then start a group of your own.

PLEASE FRIEND ME so we can keep in touch. I do updates on new member numbers and help with the pledge petition drive.

Thanks again for joining us.

Electric would be great also. I'm in favor of whatever it takes to be free ourselves from foreign oil.
