- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- I have been writting blogs and supporting the development of wind energy. Primarily I have been interested in using wind energy to crack water to create hydrogen, for use in transportation. Humboldt County, CA is an isolated community in Northern California. There are currently three wind projects proposed in the County that could generate in excess of 1,500 MW. The total electrical requirement for the area is 150 MW. The hold-up is the lack of transmission to sell the electricity to the rest of the state. I have suggested that some research into the cracking process could improve the 7-1 ratio of energy input to production. Then the energy produced here locally could be used to completely eliminate the need for oil in Humboldt County.

- Moving away from an oil based economy. Local development opportunities and an opportunity to change the way America thinks and works.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I am a licensed attorney with over 30 years of business managment experience, primarily in the telecommunications industry. I can provide both legal and business managment help in any endeavor.

I think this proposal is the kind of idea you have been writing about. Getting a project started in Ferndale would help promote wind energy in other nearby areas of Humboldt county.
