Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
We are being held hostage by the EPA.
One can not convert their personal vehicle to CNG unless
the engine has been preapproved by the EPA. There are only a few (less than 10) approved engines mostly Ford trucks.
We will never succeed without over hauling the EPA's Mission.
What excites you about this campaign?
As a former member of the Ron Paul campaign I see the same grass-roots enthusiasim and the can do attitude with the Pickens Plan.
What do you want to do to help?
I want to see a 'Phill" in every garage and CNG cars everywhere.

I've enjoyed your posts and as it is late, rather than type on would you please give me a call this week or reply with your phone number that we might talk. In Utah I'm know as mister CNG, I sued the UHP and won afetr they made a rule that any converted vehicle had to have an EPA certificate or would not be allowed to be registered in the state.
My email is slclieber@hotmail.com
I look forward to speaking with you.
best wishes

Rob, I am getting ready to either buy a cng or convert a car to cng. May I ask which cars that you have successfully converted? Also, if you convert to cng can you get out of the emissions inspection hassle?

Hey! Iived in the CWE for a couple of years! I will check out the portable CNG stations. I guess you just fill them up in town? Are they safe to just transport in the back of a truck?

Rob, when do you think that it will become economically feasible to convert passenger cars to ngv? I would like to do this, but from what I have seen so far the costs seem too high unless you are a hobbyist. I wonder if we could brainstorm a way to get costs down.

Rob, do you own a Phill? If so, does it charge fast enough?

Go Rob! I agree completely that the Bush administration has wrecked the economy for their own purpose... I just don't want to pick a fight in what (so far) seems to be a pretty non-partisan forum
