Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

I have a 12 volt solar setup on my garage roof powering led's throughout my house. I have manufactured custom machinery using many materials using my CNC machine. Developed methods of manufacturing 3D objects from drawings that I believe are unique.
Worked on a solar heated home.

What excites you about this campaign?

That it looks professional and organized and that I was invited.

What do you want to do to help?

Develop a set of CAD files to distribute - to minimize concept to product with the fewest obstacles. Discuss and share my methods.

At 6:26am on September 6, 2008, Rob Shuttleworth said…: There are a lot of viewers and a few free converters. The one I'll recommend for us is eDrawings, because it has all functions for sharing and printing files easily, and it's free.
You can open a DWG or DXF file and immediately print parts at scale for use as templates. The program will also generate a part file with it's own eDrawings viewer so there is no installation required for those who want to keep to the basics.
It's only 2 steps to send a file...click send and select how it will be sent, it even zips it. It creates an exe file and firewalls can be a problem, I just tried to send a zip to your chinadepot address, but it was returned (because of the exe file in it).
It would be great to see the microhome plans, I'm a builder by trade and I'd like to help make a set that can be more accessible and made easily.

There is a perfect storm of events happening right now that create the possibility of a paradigm shift that is urgently needed.
