John Nistler said… - Hello Robert, UTC power and others can use the Methane directly in their systems for the generation of electrical power. (Phosphoric acid with heat cogen type hydrogen fuel cells with a 'front end stripper" for pulling the hydrogen from the methane.) I got started in this because I felt the electrolyzer technology approaches could still benefit from a new look. Vanity maybe, but results so far look good with inexpensive materials.
Decided to concetrate on "dirty water sources" Present proposal being put forward is related to a Sewage treatment facility so methane digestion is definately a possibility. The intent is not to reinvent the wheel or get into a lot of research. More interested in actual application.

Have you been involved in capturing the methane to run in a hydrogen fuel cell? We are looking at a proposal in relation to converting a small rural town's waste water treatment facility and during the third stage are considering methane digesters as a possibility.
The other possibility instead of using the hydrogen for electricity generation would be the direct sale or use of the methane itself.

- Robert, I would very much like to know more about your company and the plasma technology. Right now I am working with a group in my county to convert to waste to energy technology and looking very seriously at plasma assisted gasification. I am having a difficult time finding out what I think I might need to know to be an informed consumer of this technology. Do you do business locally, nationally or world wide? - I have been in Renewable Energy for over 25 years beginning with Landfill Gas Recovery to generate electricity. Our company had now branched off into other Alternative Energy sources including Solar, Wind and Hydroelectric.
