- As an aspiring energy lawyer I find no better time than now in taking the first steps in defining the solution to our energy problems. The times are getting tough but rather than letting them conquer us this is exactly the opportunity we need to reinvent ourselves and the nation. A little less than a century ago the Nation lifted itself out of the Great Depression by creating a vast energy infrastructure and spawned thousands of the jobs in the process. We can again create a new future for ourselves and the Pickin's Plan offers just the solution we need to help address the energy problems of our age.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- We all acknowledge the nations engergy problem wiether we approach it from an enviornmental, an economic, or political problem. T. Boone Pickens emerged with a plan that is comprehensible and practical that all of us can get on page with.
- What do you want to do to help?
- In getting people involved in solving this overwhelming problem we can not get caught up in rhetoric and complacency. There is something that we can each do immediatly in laying the groundwork for progress. In our districts we can start moving past the dialogue and participating in the creation of the engergy jobs. I will help organize my neighbors in utilizing the latent potential of the northwest in becoming a leader in energy innovation and making our voices heard.

I am one of the welcome wagon crew. We are all volunteers. Out of sheer numbers I greet daily I have a paste and copy note.
It is not intended to overwhelm you, just give you a direction and some contacts. I do read every profile page.
We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.
For those of you that have already jumped in and have made contact with your local leader- thanks.
*************Please, I ask the first sites you visit to get accurate info and articles to see pretty much what the plan is about and where the plan stands, and please come back to these sites often as changes take place regularly. Some are long, please; take the time to get all the details.

If you would rather wait on a leader role, that’s ok we need helpers. An organization cannot be all chiefs.
There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
After you have read the sites I mentioned, if you need anything else to help you, while you help the push, please stop by. I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.
