- I am a member of the Board of Directors of the Sustainable Energy Fund of Central Eastern Pennsylvania, I have currently developed a pln with agreements in place to build a 15 MW solar energy farm in Pennsylvania and I have plans to replicate the facility 5 additional times for a tital of 90
MW. I need help financing the project. Getting started in no problem. PA state has already reviewed the plan and given it its highest technical rating. I have also provided financing for numerous alternative energy projects in PA in a 29 county area.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- The possibility of generating that much energy through wind is no surprise to me. Looking at the 3-Tier graphic in the Pickens Plan, the secong "red area" for high wind concentration although not an large as the central US , is Pennsylvania, and right in my back yard are three wind farms, one of which, my group helped finance. What excites me about this plan is if wind/electricity generation can reduce gas/ oil consumption, so can solar power generation. Look up to the sun every day, and what do you have, nothing more than the ability to capture and generate electricity. This campaign can readily spin off and produce the same results with solar.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I'd love to help promote your plan, I'd love to develop an educational component of your plan which can be presented to home owners, universities, business and industry to develop interest in wind/power generation on a smaller scale to help reduce energy costs at the neignborhood level, for mom and pop, and small business with the installation of a smaller scale turbine. We can call the program something like " Wind Wariors'" and for the students, we cal call it "Wind Scholars." And at the same time we'll start to discuss other alternative energy fuel sources with the possibility of eventually developing small demonstration projects.
