Hi all
We need some activity for this group. Tell us what you have been doing to promote the Picken's plan! Last Sunday I was at the Green conference in Somerset. Did any one else attend?

I am seeking auto insurance for the dual-fuel CNG-gasoline used auto I recently purchased from the federal government through auction. My auto insurance company, 21st Century formerly AIG, says my VIN number is not listed. When I told them about the type of auto I purchased, 21st Century said they could not insure a modified auto, even though this CNG dual-fuel auto appears to have been right from the Chevrolet factory, because they would not know how to value a "modified" vehicle if it damaged. When I contacted my mother's auto insurance company, Amica, they searched three data based for the CNG dual-fuel VIN and could not find it and therefore could not insure it. Without auto insurance, I can not legally drive this vehicle and can not consume CNG as a transportation fuel.
Do you or any one in the PickenPlan organization have any direct leads to assist me in locating an insurance company that can insure this dual-fuel CNG-gasoline used auto?

Never has there been such an effort we could band behind together and truly get this done. Boone has given us a huge chance to finally be free from foreign fuel! I am willing to put my head down and plow like hell - glad to have you with me. WE CAN DO THIS.

I say to folks....." I am gathering support for T Boone PIckens Plan to get us off of foreign oil. We must keep the money in this country." Boone has done the hard work. Most have heard of him and agree. Some need a brief explanantion. Almost ALL understand how critical it is. We just ned to gather and input their names. It really is easy with a consistent effort. I have gathered over 650 since August. I am yet to meet one poerson who does not think we need to get off foreign oil. NOT ONE!
We must make it so there is nowhere for our politicians to hide. No pockets deep enough to buytheir support.... only political suicide if they do not lead us in the right direction!

Thank you for the friend. We have a golden and historic opportunity to change the course of our country. I look forward to working with you on seeing that we get it right. The most critical thing we need to continue to do is to build our numbers. Please gather as many supporters as you can. Add their information manually - it only takes a minute. They will get periodic updates from Boone, and could become more involved in the future. One person at a time we change the paradigm of thought on energy in this country!

Welcome and THANK YOU for joining Pickens Plan. We are glad to have you and we need your help.
The stars have aligned to create the possibility of a paradigm shift that is and has been urgently needed. We have an angry citizenry due to pain at the pump, a presidential election on the horizon, and a man with a plan to dramatically and imminently reduce our dependence on foreign oil, and provide a bridge to future solutions, who has the resources, contacts, knowledge, wealth and "will" to get it done.
Please share this plan with your circle of friends, family and associates. Urge them to JOIN, as it is simple and free.You can add me as your friend too.
With large numbers of supporters, we can put pressure on Congress to incentivize alternative and renewable energies, and insure that our future President will be a leader that will push for domestic energy solutions. JFK once said. "In the next 10 years we will put a man on the moon". He got it done. We need that kind of leadership on energy.
Time is of the essence. If gas prices retreat by only pennies the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost. How frightening to be looking back and apologizing to our children that we could not get this done when we had the chance.

If you can write to a Congressman/woman-do it as soon as possible or you can call them at (202)225-3121. Ask them if they support 100% clean electricity in the next 10 years.

If you can write a letter to the editor of your local paper- please do.
If you want to print downloadable flyers and put them in your car and/or business window- please do.

- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- I am a High School Technology Teacher. My students have often place first and second in state contests by demonstrating alternative energy projects. I had wished to have a grid tied solar panel system to provide power to my house but there are trees blocking the sun and it would not work!
- What excites you about this campaign?
- This campaign is very conservative compared to what should happen! ,but it has interest and the backing of Mr. Pickens. No one even pays attention to a me!. I believe we can do something very positive!
- What do you want to do to help?
- I would love to demonstrate this technology to students , Congress, and the general public! I would be willing to do what ever else was needed as long as it did not interfere with teaching!
