Roger is a graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. in Agricultural Education, as well as a graduate of University of Illinois with a Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.). As a "Certified Energy Consultant" he also helps people reduce their energy consumption at home and in business. What do you want to do to help?
Being a spokesperson for better alternatives. Helping people reduce their energy consumption, as well.

Here in the City, and Down on the Farm!

Hello from Manatee County, Florida, here in the Tampa Bay/Bradenton/Sarasota area, on the Gulf Coast side of Florida. Down on the farm? We are originally from NW Indiana, and Roger grew up on the family farms, where we are growing corn and soybeans, much of which goes to ethanol and biodiesel today. We are also in the final stages of a decision to lease strips of land for windmills for producing wind energy, a growing movement in that part of the country. We are also studying the feasibility of alternative crops for ethanol production. Roger is a graduate of Purdue University in Agriculture (a Hoosier by Birth, but a Boilermaker by the Grace of God.") - He also holds a M.B.A. from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.

Until they solve this crashing of the wells by 'fracking' I don't think natural-gas production can go forward on the scale that will be necessary. I love the idea of getting off of gasoline, but I hate the idea of ruining all the aquifers that are affected through this hydraulic-fracturing process of extraction. I can't drink natural gas.

Roger & Pamela,
I get silence too. It is quite sad. If the two of you ever get to Orlando, give me a call. We need to work together -- as a team.

Free Alternative Energy Available Now !

America Continues to Waste over 70% of the Energy it Consumes.
100's of millions of lights unnecessarily burn during the day and night, over heating and over cooling is the norm, over packaging, inadequate recycling, toxic landfills, horrendous road congestion, and our perverted obsession with road construction. Public and Private buildings, Schools, Churches, Homes, ... America's blatant energy waste and overuse is culturally pervasive, and abominable !

1- ONLY with a substantial and tangible economic reward/consequence will most Americans care to conserve.
Crude oil must be taxed at $200 per barrel and offset by making income tax begin at $60k.
Taxing energy is simple, fair, economically sound, and available TODAY.
2- The American auto industry must quickly transition to the 6.4 BILLION people reason$ to manufacture solar, wind, and other alternative energy producers. They already have the needed infrastructure. Every home and building in the world, could be using solar energy. We are fast running out of fossil fuels !

Humanity is racing toward extinction, via global warming, for our failure to stop our energy waste.
Taxing energy (in lieu of income taxes) is the ONLY incentive that will stop energy waste and cause renewable energy sources to be employed.

Roger and Pamela, whats wrong with this administration!? In Obama's funding for alternative-fuels natural-gas came in at 2nd from the bottom, just beating out methane from the municipal land-fill! I can't understand why there is no interest in this fuel. Thank God Russia and Europe have already started on conversion to NG. Norway is going to outlaw 'petrol' (gasoline) in the coming years. Again, whats the deal? As a editorial writer for Car & Driver said, we're preoccupied with MPG whereas Europe is concerned about CO2. Its not about miles per gal., but moreso about what your putting into the air!!
