Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I turned 60 not long ago and I'm retired. I can't afford this high priced gas so I walk as much as I can. A little family run grocery store opened up about 1/2 a mile away from where I live, my doctor is a mile away, I walk everywhere and the only time I'm in a car is the few times a year that the family gets together. We only have a small area that is covered by a bus route and I take it when I can. If I had a very cheap electric car I would not have to buy gas for anything except my lawn mover. The last time I bought gas was October 2007.
What excites you about this campaign?
Is there another plan out there with over a million people behind it? I know from a lot of you that PV is not green enough, but I think it is a step in the right direction. CNA for our trucking fleets and look into using solar, wind and ocean current has got to be a better long range plan than drilling more holes in the ground.
