- As a plumber in Florida I've sold, installed, repaired and maintained solar water heating systems. I've also worked in Wyoming on designated off grid community projects.
I've built several successful websites to promote the sales these off grid communities.The websites that I have created are currently the primary sales lead generator for these off grid developments.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- I want to be part of this campaign because I strongly believe Pikens Plan could secure a better future for America. If America was energy independent we would no longer have to sacrifice blood and treasure to secure the oil supply from the middle east. I want a better future for my kids. I want them to live in a county that isn't held hostage by OPEC. I believe that America's energy independence is possibly the most important national security issue today and it is vital for the future survival of our country.
I want to do everything I can to make all Americans aware how important Pickens Plan is.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I would use my skills as a website designer and SEO specialist to promote Pikens Plan. I have developed proprietary SEO techniques that would reach thousands of Americans for little or no cost. I would be interested in organizing public awareness meetings in the South West Florida region in order to spread the word to all Floridians and Americans of the importance of this campaign.

Regradless of who we voted for - our country has decided and we must do everything in our power to insure the Obama's Presdency is a successful one. STARTING WITH ENERGY. We must continue to educate Americans one at a time how urgent renewable and alternative energies are to our future. WE ONLY ACHIEVE CHANGE WITH HARD WORK AND DEDICATION to creating a complete paradigm shift of thought in this country.

What do you think about Boone's New Energy Army marching on Washington when President-elect Obama and the new Congress are sworn in?
I think he’s on the right track.
Why do you say that?
How did we get civil rights changes in this country? It happened basically when people took to the streets and politicians saw them, understood there was an aggrieved community there that wanted action, and the politicians decided that the cost of inaction on their part was greater than the cost of action. The same thing has to happen on energy. There is only going to be real legislative change and support of renewable energy when enough politicians decide that the cost of inaction is greater than the cost of action. And bringing lots of people, and I don’t mean five, ten, twenty, but hundreds of thousands of people to bear on Capitol Hill to drive that point home is really essential.
How closely do you think the major oil-exporting countries are watching us to see whether or not America develops a sustainable energy policy?
I think they’re watching, but I think so far they’re not afraid because they’ve seen this play before. They know when global oil prices go down, it tends to kill the renewable energy industry. Happened in the ‘70s and ‘80s. And so I don’t think they’re exactly quaking in their boots yet. But I think they’re watching very closely, especially when they see the politics shift and they see people like Boone or Wal-Mart, people from the corporate sector or even from the traditional energy business such as General Electric adopting new positions- that gets their attention. They haven’t seen yet any really scale alternative to oil. Until they do, I don’t think they’ll be all that worried.
I have said all along the only way to get this done is to make it political suicide for them not to get it done! The only way we affect results on this is to be strong, be loud, be united and be consistent, in all of it. PLEASE continue to share the Pickens Plan with everyone you know. Bring them to the site. Get them to sign your pledge/petition. NOW is not the time to let down our effort, it is the time to turn up the pressure - We now know where it needs to be directed. We will eat the apple one bite at a time. Please keep it in your conversations and continue to help us build to millions of supporters. WE CAN DO THIS.

Yes I will give it my best effort. I wish I was armed with a few hundred copies of Pickens Pledge when I attened Palins Speech in Florida last week. Maybe we should suggest to all Pickens army members, if you plan to attend an campaign event (it doesn't matter what party you are a member of) bring the Pickens pledge and work the crowd. Seems like the perfect environment to gain signatures.

the creators of this site have given us the ability, with little effort, to send a letter to our Representatives in Washington and Governor, too. PLEASE GO TO "THE PLEDGE" (at the very top of this page on the blue header). On the top of the pledge page there are three rectangular buttons- two blue, and ONE RED BUTTON, that reads "CONTACT CONGRESS". Fill in the short, standard form. Done!
YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE PLEDGE, get them signed and faxed back to Boone. This is how we build our numbers fast! Be a leader, be a part of the "100 CLUB", by faxing in 100 signed pledges. Let me know when you are done and I will add you to the list.

We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan.
A GROUP FOR EVERYONE
Check out the many groups for Solar, CNG, your area, etc. Connect, learn and share. We grow stronger with your input. If you don't see a group that speaks to your interest, then start a group of your own.
