- My past experience is in bio, electric, hydro operations, though not in alternative energy field. My current experience is planning and municipal politics. I have been researching and tinkering with small scale systems for 30 years. (wafers, solar collectors, 12v gen.windmill.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- The opportunity to effect real change in the way Americans obtain and utilize energy.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I believe my field experience with electronics, water, environmental testing and compliance, and plant operation combined with my experience in municipal planning and politics makes me a good person to smooth the ropes with State compliance, legislative matters and local zoning. My talent is solving problems and creating win/win solutions.

Purpose: Meet & Greet T. Boone and show that Hampton Roads is engaged on the issues of Alternative and Domestic Energy Development

Thursday Sept 3rd, T Sen Warner will be at the Fredericksburg Va. Expo cntr on Walmart's end, mainly talkin Health.
I have to be George Mason that day-evening.
Can anyone attend, promoting Pickens plan awareness? click here 2 sign in at Warner’s web site. Or plan to be there in the parking lot to hand out pledges & or info. Contact Expo Cntr to acknowledge you plan to be in parking lot.

I am one of the welcome wagon crew. We are all volunteers. Out of sheer numbers I greet daily I have a paste and copy note.
It is not intended to overwhelm you, just give you a direction and some contacts.
We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to bring to light; a clear heard message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. We cannot afford put this on the back burner again! This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.
*************Please, I ask the first sites you visit to get accurate info and articles to see pretty much what the plan is about and where the plan stands, and please come back to these sites often as changes take place regularly. Some are long, please; take the time to get all the details.

Click on Welcome video to help you understand the site a bit. Click on daily Pickens-Events- Resourses.
Everyone has the option on their profile page to do many things. Everywhere it says (Edit) click and you can customize.
Find (settings); upper right corner of your page. You can update your profile, change the manner you receive things. You can chose to preview the comments coming your way before it can be viewed by others on your page. You can accept or delete the comment.
Also every time you write a comment; you’ll see a little tiny (symbol) of sort in the upper right corner of that comment or post; you can click on it and delete your note. You can still do it months later;

Now is the time we keep hammering our elected officials to allow companies and the private sector to run with new tech and needed infrastructure changes; allowing grants & incentives to help us achieve the energy independence goal!!!
There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
After you have read the sites I mentioned, if you need anything else to help you, while you help the push, please stop by. I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.

"Welcome!" on behalf of the Pickens Community Welcome Wagon. Thank you for taking the time to join. In the past months, the Community has made a great deal of progress and the U.S. Congress knows the Pickens Army is on the march.

The Stimulus Bill has passed! More emphasis will be placed on the House and Senate legislative committees. Information regarding how to communicate with the Legislative Committees will be posted on this website.

The “Take Action” link was created to help make our collective voice heard. The “Take Action” link is on the top of your screen under the PPlan Box at the top left side. Click and you will see a list of options that will automatically link you to your federal and state representatives and the Governor of your state.
The Pledge-Fax Your Statement!!
Please read, sign, and fax to the number listed at the bottom of the Pledge page. It would be a great help to the Community if you could download the pledge, distribute, and persuade others to sign. The Community feels this is the best way to get the attention of state and federal lawmakers. Kim Anderson has other types of sign-up sheets. This is a great way to let lawmakers know of your interest in the reduction of foreign oil.

The Communications Group created a great deal of information to read and to distribute within a member's local community. Please take your time browsing through the materials.
The Videos link at the top of your Profile Page contains videos that are a good source of information. The technical videos and amateur videos are varied, so paging back to page one might be the best way to browse. On the other hand, if you would like, simply type key words in the search box.
Please use these links to find your State Congressional District Group. This is a great way to meet and communicate with your neighbors regarding the Pickens Plan.
