- I honestly have no acclaimed experience with alternative energy other than the knowledge of taking advantage of what God provides daily can and does significantly reduce other energy needs and costs .
We live in a society that for years disregarded using what is naturally available and took for granted it's existence . Now that costs have become unbearable cries of demand to react are very loud and clear .

I am one of the welcome wagon crew. We are all volunteers. Out of sheer numbers I greet daily I have a paste and copy note.
It is not intended to overwhelm you, just give you a direction and some contacts.
We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.
*************Please, I ask the first sites you visit to get accurate info and articles to see pretty much what the plan is about and where the plan stands, and please come back to these sites often as changes take place regularly. Some are long, please; take the time to get all the details.

Everyone has the option on their profile page to do many things. Find (settings), upper right corner of your page- also everywhere it says (Edit) click and you can customize.
Another option; you can preview the comments coming your way before it can be viewed by others on your page. You can accept or delete the comment.
Also every time you write a comment; you’ll see a little tiny (symbol) of sort in the upper right corner of that comment or post; you can click on it and delete your note. You can still do it months later.

Now is the time we hammer our elected officials to allow companies and the private sector to run with new tech and needed infrastructure changes; allowing grants & incentives to help us achieve the energy independence goal!!!
There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
After you have read the sites I mentioned, if you need anything else to help you, while you help the push, please stop by. I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.

We must get to 2 million supporters, and many more, if we are to have the influence and support that Harry Reid and gang will need to hang their political hat on when they put transmission, smart grid and renewables "on the table". When will we ever have an opportunity like this... or a man like Boone to push this rope, again?
EVERYONE wants to get off of foreign oil and EVERYONE understands that we need to keep the money in this country. WE just need to gather their names. IT really is quite easy - Boone has done the hard work.
Keep it simple. I say... " I am gathering support for T. Boone Picken's Plan to get us off of foreign oil. Can I add you to the 1.4 million supporters already on the list. We simply must keep those billions in THIS country."
The key points are:
1. WE CAN NOT JUST "SPREAD THE WORD" - people are busy, and although they mean well, most will not take the time to go to the site and join us. We need to control the process by taking name, address and email. It takes just a few seconds to input manually.
2. Everyone that I signed up gets Boone's emails. Some have become more involved, ALL have become more informed. One person at a time we change the paradigm of thought on energy in this country.
3. We are lucky, unlike our forefathers, we do not need to take up arms to change the course of history. We need to go out of our comfort zone a bit and ask. Are we willing to do that?... or not?
4. When will we ever have a chance like this again? We must put our heads down and plow like hell. Our numbers will be critical to get Harry Reid his "60 votes" he will be looking for (Energy Summit) when he puts transmission, smart grid and renewables on the table. WHEN WILL WE EVER HAVE A MAN LIKE BOONE AT THE HELM, willing to spare no time and expense to change the course of this nation?
