Eco-sustainability is hot topic with bloggers and automakers

A recent report by JD Power, brought to light in this article by AutoRemarketing, suggests the chatter buzz of eco-sustainability with bloggers when it comes to automakers.

I interpret this subject as a hybrid of economics and the environment and wrote about it briefly in my blog the other day.

Bill O'Reilly and Pickens

As an O'Reilly fan I have grown curious as to why he is not talking about Pickens Plan. Does he not know about it?

I emailed about it through the member site but heard nothing.

Aside from the awesome publicity that comes when you align with O'Reilly, I am more interested in knowing his impression of the Plan. I do not scrutinize things to the extent he does so I sort of count on him for that.

So, what do we do?

We cannot afford to keep “planning to act” as we have been doing for so long!

A huge help;
Letter 2 congress use this link to write your congressmen. It will be preloaded with a general message. Cut and paste to make it more personal.

UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA, SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING

" The question remains as to why this device has not been universally adopted? The only reason that I can determine is one outside of my area of expertise: Politics. I lack an understanding of the complicated interactions of utility companies, Public Service Commissions, and the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of government in this regard. In summary, the PLD has met all the criteria of engineering design and has been proven effective." Ronald McClendon, Ph. D.

Note: Dr. McClendon has taught courses in mechanical, electrical, aeorospace, and industrial engineering, as well as, engineering mechanics, artificial intelligence, and biological engineering at three major research universities. At the University of Georgia he has taught Microcontrollers and Utilization of Electric Power and Equipment. These courses are pertinet to the PLD concept.

Hey Ryan, thanks for the friend add and your comments in PA-7. For some reason I don't think I have been getting notices from the groups when people post a comment or I would have replied sooner.

here are a couple of specific things you can do this week:

1) send letter to your MOCs urging them to put energy reform at the top of their priority list.

2) send letters to local newspaper urging public to demand congressional action.

3) print off petition/pledge sheets (on Resources page) and collect signatures from local supporters (collect at shopping centers, malls, sporting events, etc).
