Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
Little experience, just frustrated that we have been sitting on our butts so long and ignoring potential problems the future can bring. Our society is too caught up in what the latest trend is and not worried about our futures.
What excites you about this campaign?
It is a clean, doable, proven way to get alternative, clean, and domestic energy.
What do you want to do to help?
However I can. I'm not really great at organizing things, but I am really good at accomplishing goals and tasks that will help the bigger picture.
I do work for my campus radio station so I can add a PSA if this campaign has any radio spots. I could produce one as well.
I'm a communications major so anything with public speaking, writing, or anything else along those lines will be a comfortable easy thing for me to do.

Hello Ryan,
Welcome from the Washington 5th Congressional District Pickens Plan Group. I’m leader of the WA 5th district group, which the Pickens Plan Army has started and has been growing since Dec. 2008. We’d like to have you as a member, just search for WA-05 in the Pickens Plan Home Page right side, “Find Your Group”. On this page you’ll be instructed to type in your zip code and our page should appear. The Washington 5th Dist, is in the top 20 rated Pickens Plan Army groups in the nation! We meet every other week and attendance isn’t mandatory.
I'm sorry for the delay in getting around to welcoming you personally. The Pickens Plan has gone through reorganization as a result of smaller groups dying. The result is the most prosperous groups remain and members are urged to re-organize into their congressional district groups. The most popular groups still remain.
We will add area groups in our district to benefit non-Spokanites and run by non-Spokanites for the benefit.of out of Towner’s.
For members living near an Idaho border town, feel free to go to meetings there until you can get enough Washington members, later you’ll be having co-meetings and BBQ’s.
Thank You,
Richard Wickberg, Spokane WA

Hi Ryan,
I like your station and your comments. I'm trying to get more people involved but most in my age group have no computer or have joined and live on the other side of the Cascades.

Hi Ryan,
No, I have not seen any radio spots yet but I have an idea who to contact. This seems to kind of be "fly by the seat of your pants" grassroots approach. If they don't have one...how hard would it be to make one?
I'm having to change the date for the PP house party to next Sat. 8/2/08 at 7pm. You probably have to work but if you could make it...that would be great. I live in the 5 mile area. If you prefer to just check in on the group though this site...that's fine to :-)
Thanks, Carol
Thanks for joining Ryan...I'm hosting a PickensPlan get together this Sat. at 7pm. I would love to have you come. If you can....contact me at 911carol.gmail.com Thanks
