Merry Christmas Ryan,
This year I have helped so many members learn about personal home energy plans. It's all about power use, conservation, and home power generation, things I have been doing at my residence to lower my energy costs. Send me a friend request a to add me Ryan, I'd be honored to have you as a friend here.
BTW, oklahoma: I just posted an article about Home Wind Systems in oklahoma. Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "soft policy" on Net Metering. Instead they have the tables turned against green power for businesses and homeowners. You should read that article, important.

Hello Ryan, These new roof mounting residential wind turbine kits shipping now. The kits are attractive, sleek, well designed to install as a home appliance on the roof, much like an antennae or satellite dish. They are as easy to install as other home appliances, like dishwasher, etc. You can now begin a personal energy plan. These systems are inexpensive, easy to install, scaleable.
Your Wind blows stronger in the winter, Your Sun shines stronger in the summer months. This hybrid wind/solar system combines these cycles to give a more even flow of energy year round. This homeowner sized wind/solar system provides free power for your home. Many customers have found it easy to become customer/dealers of our kits. Customers can become a dealer with no further investment, they see quickly how people are easy to get interested.
I have used the same systems save money on my electricity costs and Ryan, you can too. Your local wind resources are so good in Oklahoma. Please see these windmaps at the link below and pinpoint what number your area is in. Zone 2 is OK, anything over 2 is (very) good. First double check your wind resources from the map and links below.
Clean-Tech Venture Capitalist Speaks to the Democrats
Venture capital got a prime-time spot at the Democratic National Convention when Nancy Floyd, founder and managing director of Nth Power, a San Francisco clean-tech venture capital firm, addressed the crowd Tuesday.
She argued that Barack Obama’s energy policy would help energy entrepreneurs and the nation’s economy. Ms. Floyd lobbied on behalf of start-up companies with technologies that address the energy crunch. “There are thousands of entrepreneurs with new solutions and investors are lining up to back them,” she said. “What’s missing is leadership from Washington.”
She compared green technology to the early days of information technology. “Green technology is where the computer industry was in 1984, the year the Macintosh computer was introduced,” she said. “Think about how far we’ve come since then, and that’s how far-reaching and transformational green technology will be.”
Investments in solar and wind companies have already paved the way for the creation of 2.4 million new jobs, she said, but only 10 percent are in the United States, and alternative energy companies in the United States are turning to countries like Spain, Germany and China to manufacture and sell their products.
“That’s because other countries have smart, stable, forward-looking energy policies,” she said. Ms. Floyd, who is based in Portland, Ore., founded Nth Power in 1997, long before alternative energy became the hot sector for venture investors. The firm has $420 million under management in four funds.
Ms. Floyd founded one of the first wind development companies in 1982 and sold it three years later.

Ryan,
TRANSPORTATION is the master key to basic survival, and the cornerstone of the economy. We all know that transportation presently depends on oil production, and oil production is peaking. We must focus first on transportation – it is the highest priority. The PickensPlan to transition vehicles to natural gas is a great start toward 100% energy independence, but is a stop-gap measure till we can transition to all electric transportation. Electric energy is strained without adding transportation demands; so we must implement drastic efficiency improvement.
Evacuated Tube Transport (ETT) is a patented technology where travel occurs without air friction or rolling resistance (like “Space Travel on Earth”); ETT can accomplish 50 times more transportation per kWh (or carbon credit) than electric cars or trains. ETT is silent, low cost, safe, faster than jets, and is electric so it can make maximum use of wind or PV power. I invite you to visit my page to learn more about ETT
There may be relief in sight. We need to track this legislation and make sure the American people are protected as it moves through congress. This could open up the conversion market if we hold our representatives and senators feet to the fire.
Here is a piece of legislation that proposes to deal with the natural gas regulations on the federal level.
Senator James M. Inhofe of Oklahoma Introduces Drive America on Natural Gas Act and we need to show our support. This is a first step on the road to energy independence.

The regulations of certification are addressed in a way to open up the market. Finally!!!!!!!!!

We have to drown out the foreign oil Lobbyists in Washington. Collectively We have to become the VOICE for changing our reliance on foreign oil, by Vocalizing our Support for the wide scale use of Alternative Energy Producing Systems.
The ACTION we can take Today is to influence our LEGISLATURE. We must change the thinking in Washington. This is accomplished by CONTACTING your Senator, Representative, Governors.
The following links to Websites are one way of Contacting Congress. I find these links to be the quickest at getting to the "contact web form" used by most of Washington.

Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I quit driving my 05 Dodge diesel ($150 fillup) and now drive an 84 Isuzu diesel that I can run on bio-diesel for about $50 a month. I make this sacrifice NOT because I can't afford fuel any more but rather it makes me sick to pay what I am paying to make some third world dictator or other faction rich and no one around me is benefiting. A $900 a month spent by me times probably 30M other small business owners is alot of money to put outside our economy. The money needs to stay here and get our dollar, innovation, and small business owner more value in his investment into America. I am involved in another venture that lowers energy consumption with Enterprise (Large Company/Government IT Infrastructure) by over 70%. It is exciting to see innovation change our business for the good and that is what the Picken's plan is at minimum addressing.
What excites you about this campaign?
That T Boone isn't afraid to stand front and center himself to make this plan public and isn't hiding behind anyone/anything to bring it out. He is a larger than life version of all us scrapper/warrior small business owners who work our butts off to put things together that not only make money but make life better for those that are connected to us. He will go far with this even if it gets resistance from those on on the left and right. This is a real issue that he has properly thought through to get the answer he is presenting. That is all any reasonable person could ask for. Now to get it collaborated on and moving forward.
What do you want to do to help?
Money? My network of people? Not sure how to participate without knowing more but I am sure right now it is important to get as many people as possible behind this prior to election. Whomever gets in office needs to know they have an "Army" to deal with and that our concerns and demands are not going to go away.
