Cool Ideas

While I am not a rocket scientist nor even half way smart. I do like to read. The discussions of the last few days here at Pickens plan have been fantastic reads. Some things I have read have been less than lackluster and some of you have very good communication skills. I have enjoyed the process of reading discussion ideas and the responses. I like that in a very short time you can read ideas from various parts of the country. I do believe that some people that are not sure how they can help. T… Continue

Pickens plan

I joined and invited people that are in my sphere. We need to start somewhere, why not with this plan. I have always lived around the southwest and been involved with various political ideas and forums. I have been a candidate for office. I have felt for a long time that we need to take care of us; U.S. We have shipped manufacturing jobs across the ocean. We hardly build anything any more. I know that country, I grew up in Lubbock. People don't seem to understand that the only question is how hard the wind is blowing in that part of the country, not if it is blowing. Wind farms are ideal for the high plains, a bit problematic here in NW AR. We can make methane from chicken litter if we wish. Much better than continuing to spread it on already overloaded pastures or feeding it to cows...ugh!

I look forward to more interaction with you. Use my email if you wish, it is easier for me than this site's setup.

I agree about the good ideas and maybe questionable ones. I am a fan of getting out of the box so even the crazier thoughts may have a useable kernel, if we can find it. The wesite Renewable Energy Access is a useful resource for you to check out.

I'm pressed for time right now but plan to get back to the 'list of action items' link on the sidebar...looks promising.

Where is Bosgue Farms, looks like open, dry country in the picture.

We need to start taking control of where we are going as a nation and not let the talking heads sound bite this to death.
