- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- I was in the automotive industry for the past ten years. For the past three I walked around wondering why out of our 120 vehicles on the lot, all but 17 of them were full size suvs and trucks.
Not one was a hybrid and most of the cars had v8. Yes most of this was to the fault of the owner, but in my opinion GM was also to blame.
Now I have gone back to school for civil and environmental engineering.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- Mostly keeps America's money in American hands. I feel that this plan is the best idea to get Americans working and to ween us off of imported oil. Wind, CNG, solar hydro and nuclear power can make us self-sufficient and jump start the American economy.
- What do you want to do to help?
- Anything that I can. I have an idea that I would like to push. It would call for making a CNG grid from Miami to NY City. We also should get with companies that use semis and I-95 for moving their freight and give them tax breaks for switching to CNG. With NC having such a large deposit of Natural Gas under it, it would provide jobs for years to come and we could branch out from there. Hundreds of thousands of job would come from pulling up the gas, building the infrastructure for the CNG and switching the trucks over to run on CNG. Not to mention the money would be in our own hands.

I just wanted make make sure, you especially, received the invite to our Lobby Day in Tallahassee on March 24th, 2009 - We are arranging for buses to travel to Tallahassee from all over the state to send a bold message to Legislature the we support the best policy mechanism available to us...Renewable Energy Dividends. With Rep. Kreegels support we can make this happen! I need as much help as possible in gathering people in your area..do you think you could or even just circulate the flyer for the event?

Replicating the success of Gainesville, Florida and introducing a Renewable Energy Dividend policy will bring widespread economic recovery and job creation
to Florida, while establishing energy security and
environmental stewardship.

We had over 250 people at the conference - don't miss our Renewable Energy Tour, 2009 kicking off today in West Palm Beach from 5-7pm @ Pine Jog Environmental Center Room 101 & 102, 6301 Summit Blvd.
The big event will be the final stop on the tour in Orlando at Keiser University Orlando, from 10am - 2pm. 5600 Lake Underhill Road.

I am one of the welcome wagon crew. We are all volunteers. Out of sheer numbers I greet daily I have a paste and copy note.

We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.
