- over 20 years ago I went to a meeting in Columbus,Ohio
about the water fuel cell..proven successful..but was turned
down by this country; water covers 3/4 of the globe..hydrogen
will be the source;Ohio has great gas resources!Lake Erie is
a big asset to Cleveland,Oh. for wind turbines already being
processed;a German company has set up an office here in Ohio for solar applications;Cleveland is already responsive to alternative energy! I've been interested for 20 years.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- Pickens is totally right;..the momentum,and timing..WE NEED
GREEN ENERGY JOBS!! the old smoke stack factories is
obsolete,expensive to operate..outdated; this country needs a
new face lift in a lot of areas.
- What do you want to do to help?
- work with groups of people..set up wind farms here in Ohio..

We need to keep our eye on the goal. Please get 10 signed pledges faxed in today. As Thomas Friedman states (DAILY PICKENS) only a loud and large grass roots effort will force Washington into action. The Gang of 20 has said the same thing. THE ONLY WAY TO GET THE CHANGE IN ENERGY WE MUST HAVE IS TO BUILD THIS HISTORICAL EFFORT TO UNIGNORABLE HEIGHTS. The clock is ticking- less than 75 days until INAUGURATION DAY. WE CAN DO THIS! PLEASE GET 10 today.

Today is the day, for all who believe in their hearts that we can do this, to get 10 signed pledges! Will you print off 10 pledges, get them signed and fax them back? The clock is ticking and it is time for us to ramp it up. Tap into that moment when you first saw this and thought, "WOW, this could really happen", go out of your comfort zone a bit and get it done. Imagine if our forefathers had it this easy?
I know that personal actions can be powerful, so I try to do what I can. The interesting thing is that although I bought a hybrid to cut down on pollution it has saved me hundreds of dollars a year on gas. Putting insulated windows in my home saved a lot of money too. If more people get the message that they can help save the environment and save money while doing it, our energy needs will go down significantly.

Keep up the good work! Familiarize yourself with the basics before getting involved with a new project. Our new web-site www.ElToroEXPOSED.com would be a good starting point.
We are in a world of hurt and change by a few enlightened individuals is definitely not enough. I am continually looking for ways for all of us to begin waves of understanding and concern and healing that propagate on their own.
As far as energy solutions go, the greatest impact can be achieved by individuals through conservation. Innovation and invention will lead us into the future, but the present demands that we reject the wasteful and destructive practices of our past in order to survive.
EMAIL A LETTER TO YOUR REPRESENTATIVES BY USING OUR EASY RED "CONTACT CONGRESS" BUTTON -This is urgent, because the Energy Bill in Congress is in danger of not passing! With little effort, we have the ability here for you to send a letter to our Representatives in Washington and Governor, too. Go to THE PLEDGE (at the very top of this page on the blue header) On the top of the pledge page there are three rectangular buttons- two blue ones and ONE RED BUTTON, that reads "CONTACT CONGRESS" . Fill in the short, standard form. Done!
YOU CAN ALSO HELP BY BRINGING 5 FOLKS TO JOIN the site today, so that we can build a voice big enough that Congress will finally have to listen to us, instead of the lobbyists and special interests, who are trying to derail this historic effort.
YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE PLEDGE on the main page. Print out 10 or more of them, get them signed and fax them back to Boone ASAP. This is how we build our numbers fast! Be a leader, be a part of the "100 CLUB", by faxing in 100 signed pledges. Let me know when you are done and I will add you to the list.
PICKENS U has been formed for college and university students to get involved. If you know of a student who would like to become an ambassador to helped coordinate the pledge drive please submit names to Pickens U site. This would be good for job resume.
THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
…to wait and see…or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONSWe need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan.
A GROUP FOR EVERYONE. Join the Guides and Materials for New Members Group. Lot's of good information there.
Check out the many groups for Solar, CNG, your area, etc. Connect, learn and share. We grow stronger with your input. If you don't see a group that speaks to your interest, then start a group of your own.
