Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

I don't have any experience with alternative energy, but I am a huge believer in it. I agree with Mr. Pickens regarding our sending our wealth to foreign countries, which don't have our best interests at heart. Though I live in AL, where wind energy is not practical (not enough wind), I support its development elsewhere in the U. S. as well as other alternative energy sources. If I could get a car that would run on natural gas, for example, that would be great.

What excites you about this campaign?

The possibility of becoming energy independent of foreign oil. I am in favor of offshore oil exploration, shale, coal to oil, wind, solar, etc., and I believe with a combination of all alternatives available to us, we can become truly energy independent. I agree with Mr. Pickens: our future as a nation depends on it.

What do you want to do to help?

Anyway I can; spreading the word, voting for candidates who support alternative energy, etc. I don't have much money, but I will do all I can. I am a 9th generation American and I love my country. I believe it is the greatest country on earth with the greatest people. As history shows, together, there is no problem we can't solve.

We have petitions! "THE PLEDGE" is on the main page.

I think this is the very best tool we could ask for. It is so much easier to get someone to sign a petition than to go online and join the plan as a member.

I have been test driving it for a few days and got 200 signatures rather eaasily. Most folks had seen the ads or seen Boone on the news. Most were eager to sign it and strongly support it. A few wanted to get more info- I handed them a business card with the website. Very few said no (2 or 3).

I hope you can ask all your "friends" to download a bunch of PLEDGES and fax them back to the office ASAP. THIS IS HOW WE BUILD AN ARMY much faster. Millions of signatures.

Thank you for all your efforts. We have a very strong team. Many ants can take the Hill!
