Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

Members of my family have been using CNG (propane) vehicles since the 1970's - for trucks hauling horse trailers because they were overwhelmingly cleaner-burning and allow the horses to arrive at the next show site in enormously better condition than if they had been breathing diesel or gasoline fumes for hundreds of miles!

What excites you about this campaign?

Growing OUR economy on OUR terms - this is truly the greatest "Declaration of Indepence" since 1776 - I want to heartfully thank everyone at the Pickens Plan for bringing these revolutionary ideas together. Let's win this!

What do you want to do to help?

Just ask - I am active on some other issues with Congress, and was formerly on the staff of a U.S. Senator - we need to get this idea FRONT AND CENTER here in the Pacific Northwest - and get it firmly on agenda of both our politicians but also our major philanthropists. Let's do it!

I have started a Regional group, welcoming comments, ideas, and suggestions for Renewable Energy in the NW Region. Including states from the Pacific, Cascade and Rocky Mountain areas. I realize that some of my Pickens Plan friends are outside this region, but you are always welcome to join and add your thoughts to the discussion. We should be looking at best available sources of energy in our region, and ways to improve the power grid to transfer energy from region to region as it is needed.
