Scott, I agree that the nation needs a Pickens Plan. But a Texas Plan (this may be the PIckens plan) endorsed by our governor is also needed. But what works for our region may not apply for other regions. So a specifc plan for our region is also needed.ie a wind turbine in Bandera Texas would yield better results than in our region. If this analysis has been done...point me in the right web page.

Profile Information

Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I have been researching wind and solar energy for my household and am embarking on a transition in my remodeling. Energy is one of the most critical areas for us as a society to address. We can be green minded all we want but if we are not addressing the issues as a society, our progress will be too little too late. Our dependence on foreign oil does not enable us as Americans to be the independant and strong nation we once were. Now is the time to address these isssues of wind, solar and other alternative energy sources for the sake of our future and that of our descendants.
What excites you about this campaign?
I joined up with the Pickens plan at the onset because Boone is the right person to get this energy ball rolling in the right direction.
What do you want to do to help?
This is an area where if we get off the fence, we really can make a difference.
