Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
Almost none but did ask the local electric delivery company about solar on the roof of my home. I need real technical information to be better informed and better equiped to kick off an organization here is Virginia.
What excites you about this campaign?
The plan is an excellent basic plan that is clearly defined and well explained. I can visualize the outcome and the outcome makes sense. In addition, the plan allows input and responsible flexibility or process improvement.
What do you want to do to help?
I want to start by getting the local electric company to allow the cost of solar panels on my house (and other homes and businesses) to be paid through monthly payments on my electric bill over 30 years and be a transferrable cost if I sell my home. I want the electric company to be limited to a small ($25 monthly) fee for this service with no opportunity to increase this fee. I want the electric company to let me use the electric I create for personal use and pay me for the excess (if excess exists) that goes into the general electric grid. If I use more than I create, I pay the 12 or 6 cents per Kwh we are charged today. I want my county supervisors to get on board with NO CLEAR CUTTING so we can keep the air, land, and waterways supporting our environment, controlling erosion, cleaning our air, and keeping our county pretty while providing a great lifestyle.

As Virginia's 11th Congressional District leader for the Pickens Plan, I invite you and your list of friends to join the Pickens Plan District Group VA-11. We are currently organizing neighborhood Captains to help spread the word. This is an exciting time and the first 100 days of the new administration needs to hear our voice. I look forward to working with you in the future and thank you for your desire to make a difference.
Hi Selma,
Great to see you here I had best friends from Dale City near you.Don and Naomi Turner he was once a county commissioner.I reduce energy in fluorescent lighting systems all over the country . What really confounds me is the technology already exists to reduce energy and its not implemented in small businesses even tho the ROI is a mere 18 months. Lets both continue to push for a cleaner environment. tkx chris

In addition to working with county supervisors and learning about the investment opportunities (separating the valid from the not so valid...), we need to look at these useful tools for cutting our energy cost and the amount we use. This site and others suggested and the investment suggestions are keeping me busy researching but very happy with what I am finding. We all need to keep working at this and get the government to allow Pickens to do what he does best and move out of the way to our use of energy-reducing tools and investments. This site gets better every day. I only wish I had more time. Your right about how clear the plan is described. I plan to push my county supervisor again this week. Wish me luck.
I will try to email you about some of the concerns you expressed your last email. We are like-minded. I will also send the following URL to your email. This is available now in CT with very little out of pocket cost. Let me know what you think. http://www.power-save1200.com/
I am looking for micro wind companies with a track record ( not easy to find ) that I can invest in, any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings Selama,
Join the club. I am not very good with compiters ago. I am an old Slide-rule guy. A lot of people of this generation do not know what a slide rule is. If you do not check the dictionary.
You can get to the People's Petition (I drafted it) by

I know there is a spelling mistake access should be excess and WET stands for Wind EnergyTax.
The support for the Petition has beed good, better than I expected. My thanks to all that have signed it. To-gether we can achieve our goal - Energy Independence.
Farming for independance and leaping over HOA and government control of my wallet--keep me informed on the fund and post the documents on the fund as soon as they are available. Just think, we can have turbines, solar panels raising above our corn, wheat, tomatoes, and other crops. Isn't sharing the land great? Think of all the new inventions that can come out of this way of viewing land.
