Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I sold foundation metal for wind turbine towers until January of this year. Also, back in 1981, I sold (tried to sell!) solar domestic water heaters - in Minnesota. Even with Pres. Carter's tax credits, that market just didn't open up here.
What excites you about this campaign?
I strongly believe that America needs to deviate from our market-based economy when it comes to energy, and develop A Plan. The Pickens Plan is a great start, and may even be the best plan for us. At least it's waking Washington up to the realization that Exxon and Shell aren't financially motivated to endorse alternative energy.
What do you want to do to help?
I'm open to suggestions.

Welcome aboard Sharon!
I like your thinking. Someone like you, with experience related to the technologies can benefit the movement, and maybe take us to the next stage. After more wind is adopted in your region, and solar in the South, where that solution makes more sense.
Whatever we do, common sense should drive the plan. It sounds like you have that in spades.
To learn more about what you can do, read here from the members and focus groups here in the Pickens Plan.
Feel free to join the most dynamic Alternative Energy Group: Solar!(Click here)
Reaching accross this great country from sunrise to sunset, add your collective experience, drive & determination to support this vital global resource, and maintain the American technological lead.
We want to keep creating ways to tap this vital resource, not just for the future, but for tomorrow.
