I'm really glad to see you here. For some time I've recognized the fact that something needed to be done. Government doesn't have a clue, and they have their own agenda. I have also recognized the fact that if anything is going to be done we, as citizens of this country will have to do it ourselves, and pull them into the scheme kicking and screaming.

Wind and solar power have been on the table for some time, and natural gas has been available as a fuel alternative for ages. Now that they're drilling the Barnett Shale it can't be said we don't have enough or it's not practical.

My electricity provider has just doubled my bills based on the fact that they use natural gas to fire their turbines, and the price of gas has gone from $2 and change, to $12 and change. That's a crock. You can bet that if the price goes down, they won't reduce my billings so that my bills will be lower.

Heating systems can be changed. Automobile manufacturers can produce natural gas vehicles, and those on the street today can be converted. These are all things that can be done in a few years

It's time for our vopices to be heard. As Mr. Pickens says it's here in quantity, and it's ours, it's time we used it.

We all share the same goal; to rid ourselves of foreign oil and clean up our environment for our children and grandchildren. Wind energy is a viable alternative. Some of us have a different ideas of what we can do for immediate relief.

Join some groups, get involved and invite some of your friends to join you.

Check out our group "Live Carbon Free" and see how we are promoting conservation and environmental stewardship as the bridge to future energy developments. Regardless of what we do, it will take some time to implement on a significant scale. For immediate results we can make a huge difference by conserving what we have.
