Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I have always been an energy saving geek. I have kept up with technology in hydrogen, solar, and wind. In fact back in the 80s I tried to get into the solar and wind business but could never get it going.
What excites you about this campaign?
T. Boone Pickens. We finally have someone with money, contacts, and credibilty instead of us poor old hippies who lack all three of the above.
What do you want to do to help?
I would like to use my semi-expertise in wind and solar to attract members and work in marketing products.
My background is in senior management of small businesses of both others and my own. I am very bright and articulate and would be a real asset to your campaign.

I am intrested in your report on Habitat for Humanity houses in LeniorCity TN that use solar and Energy Star building principles and have virtually no utility bills. The location is near the Loudon Dam which is part of the TVA. The cost of power is very low in that area.
There may be relief in sight. We need to track this legislation and make sure the American people are protected as it moves through congress. This could open up the conversion market if we hold our representatives and senators feet to the fire.
Here is a piece of legislation that proposes to deal with the natural gas regulations on the federal level.
Senator James M. Inhofe of Oklahoma Introduces Drive America on Natural Gas Act and we need to show our support. This is a first step on the road to energy independence.

The regulations of certification are addressed in a way to open up the market. Finally!!!!!!!!!

We have to drown out the foreign oil Lobbyists in Washington. Collectively We have to become the VOICE for changing our reliance on foreign oil, by Vocalizing our Support for the wide scale use of Alternative Energy Producing Systems.
The ACTION we can take Today is to influence our LEGISLATURE. We must change the thinking in Washington. This is accomplished by CONTACTING your Senator, Representative, Governors.
The following links to Websites are one way of Contacting Congress. I find these links to be the quickest at getting to the "contact web form" used by most of Washington.

I agree, with T Boone Pickens pushing a specific agenda that goes against both political parties will create a groundswell of support that will kill the partisanship that has created this mess. I do not like to talk politics because it gets in the way of the solution process. Identifying roadblocks in the form of legislation, regulation and incentives takes a clear vision without the blinders of party affiliations. Political parties do not exist in the Small Scale Entrepreneur (Small business is the American little engine that could) group.
Identifying specific problems will be very important to all of us. As you well know the current state of regulations and incentivizes is stacked against a broad distribution of current technologies (especially in the small business arena).
Will you begin a solar technology Discussion Forum in the Small Scale Entrepreneur (Small business is the American little engine that could) group?
